A.I used World Moving and Storage to move from East Auckland to West Auckland. From the outset this process was so easy. Wendy in the office answered all my questions and emailed a quote after gathering my details. The move was booked, confirmed the day before and David and Tala turned up at the agreed time. They worked hard and they loaded the truck carefully. The goods arrived intact after overnight storage and delivered the next morning. The cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend World Moving and Storage. Thank you so much for making this an easy process.

R.I selected this company based on their outstanding and consistently good google reviews. I was not disappointed. They offer a great range of services, and you can pick and choose as suits your needs and budget. We moved two houses from Auckland to one location in another city, so getting the truck size right was the first crucial step. This was made easy via a WhatsApp video survey of the contents throughout the residences (unconditional and cost free at this stage).
World Moving also went the extra mile and sent a branch manager out on request to my elderly parents when they needed someone to reassure them. The movers arrived on time, well presented, and were all very professional, polite and hard working. Nothing was a problem and they took great care with our possessions. The guys loading the trucks are Tetris Grandmasters - talk about efficient use of space! Similarly at the unloading end, they worked hard while taking great care and meeting our every wish, leaving nothing wanting. Another point of difference for this company is that they only use full time employees who are all police vetted (some companies use casual labourers, and this is where various issues like damage or theft can arise).
I would definitely use this company again and furthermore wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Yes, you'll surely be able to find a cheaper quote, and likely pay for it in other ways while regretting not using this here company. The old adage applies - pay peanuts and get monkeys, or save a world of headaches and use World Moving for an awesome shift.

A.We are so happy with world moving & storage. We moved from Wellington to Roxburgh, Central Otago. At both ends the crew were lovely, helpful and efficient. Handled all goods with care. Everything was in perfect condition and they delivered on the day we agreed to with no problems last Friday. Upon unpacking we noticed 2 items missing. 1 day later they have been located and are on there way to us. If i think of the things that could go wrong, having 2 items come to us at a later date is absolutely minor. Customer service throughout has been exemplary. G.I had heard some good things about World Moving & Storage so was hopeful they'd live up to these accolades. They smashed it! (nothing physical was smashed! :)). We had them pack everything - I mean everything. They wrapped everything meticulously down to the finest items, stored it all for 5 months, then delivered to our next home. The 2 man delivery team contended with one of the steepest drives in Auckland, so steep, the truck couldn't come up the drive. They had to carry everything up by hand. Incredibly, they did what appeared to be impossible with a courteous smile at all times, nothing was too much trouble and nothing was lost, damaged or even marked. They just couldn't have improved anything that I can think of. Needless to say I highly recommend them. We didn't raise a finger throughout the whole process! Simply brilliant guys, big thanks.

S.After having less than satisfactory experiences in the past with cowboys who hire out a couple of muppets and a truck, we decided to pay a bit more and get professionals. And that's what we got. Tala and his packing and moving team were professional, friendly, intelligent, efficient and responsive to our requirements. Communication was excellent. I live in Dubai and our young adult children were living in our rented accommodation and the landlord had sold his property and we needed to move, the timing was bad as it was two weeks before the Level 4 lockdown, which clearly we didn’t know it was going to happen in two weeks – just as we had booked in the move!
I had two pretty panicked kids when the announcement came that all moving would be stopped under Level 4, and numerous emails back and forth – with a nine hour time difference was stressful enough but Wendy was just outstanding – she kept us fully in the loop, went the extra mile to make sure that if World Moving could move our possessions to the new house, they absolutely would and she absolutely did!! The movers were quick, thorough, efficient and we appreciated how under the pump they were to get to the next job. The pricing for the whole job from start to finish was more than reasonable, the invoicing is clear so you know what you are paying for. We can’t recommend them highly enough. Great work Wendy!!

T.Raymond and his team moved us in the lockdown three days after we ent down to Alert Level 3. There were many complications with the timing due to the uncertainty of when real estate transactions could be settled and we need a lot of flexibility. Raymond stayed in touch with us right through this period and was hugely helpful. We then had issues with the (ridiculous) demands of the purchaser of our house, which put is in a difficult and high-pressure situation. Raymond came up with a great solution for us (when it wasn't really his problem) and took all the stress of us. On the day his team were fantastic: courteous, careful and efficient. We can't recommend World Moving highly enough; they are the best!

S.My experience with World Moving was rather unique. Knowing I had the big move months in advance I looked at prominent Auckland removal companies and got down to a short list of two. World Moving and Storage was one of them but, unfortunately for me based on nothing more than website hype, I chose the other company. I won't name them but suffice to say a major name in relocations. When I made the original booking I prewarned the selected company about an access problem at my old house and suggested they have someone come by to have a look so they sent the appropriate sized truck. I also told them of some items that required special packaging. Cut a long story short, on the day of my move it was POURING with relentless rain. The truck turned up late and couldn't get down my drive. They went and changed trucks and arrived back with none of the special packaging required and were about to begin carrying my belongings out through the pouring rain when I put my foot down and said NO WAY! I contacted the management, told them what had happened and said they could do it tomorrow or the next day. They couldn't or wouldn't so I sacked them!
So here I am with all my gear packed and ready to move and no mover!
We contacted World Moving and, thank my lucky stars, they had an opening in two days time. After briefly discussing the move with the very helpful person on the phone he asked if he could send someone out to have a look at the volume of gear and assess the access. Within half an hour of making contact a senior manager from World Moving was at my house and had worked out exactly what was required. No Bull, no Hype just honest answers and a straight-forward approach. Needless to say I was impressed.
Come the day of the move and things just got better. The crew arrived 5 mins early, in a truck that came down the drive.
(I highly recommend a crew of three for moving. Two carriers and one stacker. This dynamic is far more efficient than using only two and probably works out cheaper anyway by saving time.)
The crew from Word Moving were World Class. The three people who did my move were absolutely professional, took excellent care of all my gear and were a total pleasure to work with from the start at 0830 to the last box around 1630. I cannot speak highly enough of their attitude and abilities. Because of the size restriction requiring a medium not a large truck, we thought we may need to do two trips. The boss of the crew seemed to make it a personal challenge to get my gear into one load. His stacking abilities was just amazing. I could not believe it when the last item, my bed, went on the back and we closed the doors. That truck was stacked beautifully but I'm sure it was a Tardis. (Bigger on the inside than the outside.) So the crew, who could have easily taken it a bit easy and milked the job for a lot more hours stepped up and made a huge effort to do the job efficiently.
Thank you, thank you, World Moving and all your people. You saved my bacon in a very awkward situation and made a day I'd been dreading an absolute walk in the park.
(Now I just have to unpack it all...)
So there's my story, I cannot reccommend Word Moving and Storge highly enough. A rare compant these days who takes customer service very seriously and seem completely dedicated to makeing a very difficult time as easy and stress free as possible.
If you are moving, it's a complete no-brainer, you won't be disappointed.

A.I found the team at World Movers to be very efficient and professional in all matters related to our move.
During the moving they had to battle the wet weather while getting our furniture to and from their truck. Having the whole thing done in a single day was a mammoth task; but they did this in their stride with ease and competency.
