T.Once again Van and a man did a great job of helping me move. they moved me up to an earlier time slot which was nice, and worked hard to get everything to my new home and set up quick and easy. Would highly recommend using these people. 10/10.

J.Moving house is always such a stressful experience. The dreaded removal van shows up and you anticipate the hassles and problems that could arise when moving all your precious ‘stuff’.
Well. Not this time.
We were really lucky to have Shaun and Mikey help us with our move. Not one item damaged or broken. All furniture was ‘lugged’ into position in the respective spots and man, we had some pretty heavy items that had to be carried up three levels.
Tom was so accommodating when we asked if they could pick up our fridge from a supplier in town and we moved in, cold beer at the ready and so happy.
These guys are the best. Great sense of humour and bloody hard workers.
If we were to move again, there’s no one else we would use.

A.Brayden and David delivered our 15 m3 of stored goods. They were efficient, friendly, responsive, positive and informative. They moved other furniture around in the house to fit our stored goods and did so happily.
Overall, very happy with VAAM while our goods spent two years in storage. They were always super responsive and more than happy to help. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

L.As always, Van and a Man, were great to deal and charged a fair price. A no haste approach to arrange a pickup in Christchurch for delivery back to Nelson. Another national carrier quoted 200% more. And Ali and his office staff even had time for a chat. Support local wherever possible.
S.We had Mason and Reece move my in-laws today and they were fantastic. We were initially concerned about their youth, however they were well oiled machines. They worked all day, they were careful with all the furniture and they had a positive attitude about all the work they had to do. We would definitely recommend them.

M.Van and a Man did a great job at moving my furniture from one flat to another. Took a long time to fit my bed into my room when I first moved in so was worried about getting it out, but Van and a Man easily manoeuvered it out and then into my new room. Thank you!
A.The guys did really well with what they had but should have turned up with a bigger truck or another trailer as it took a very long time to try and load everything on (all boxes were ready in the carport and rail taken down to enable furniture to be lowered over the deck) Even then I had to borrow a trailer to take the last items. Will do my homework a little more next time I move to find out what will be provided as this ended up being quite expensive! Otherwise a great service.

R.Highly recommend this company. Just before the move I had to leave Nelson for a family crisis. I gave the young men my keys to my Storage unit, and my house with instructions on what needed to be done. As stressed as I was, the young men reassured me everything will be ok. I left for Auckland feeling that my move would run smoothly. A friend later checked my house and said they did a great job. Heads up to Benji who took control of the move.

This was a busy time of year for everyone being a few days before Christmas 2018, but they made it all come together making the move a lot less stressful than what it could have been. c.Original communication was a bit slow but it was a global pandemic. The two blokes were fit, strong, fast and enthusiastic. My five odd bulky items were carefully wrapped and ready for delivery to my storage lock up. Felt if they used their own moving blankets it would add to the protection of my belongings. My sofa had the feet removed to allow it to fit through the door and was obviously lower than it should be. It was long too. Doors are normally 1980. The sofa is between 2000 & 2100 (tapered arms) in length. They put the sofa on end and attempted to push it through the door surprisingly due to its obvious length. Then when it snagged, started pushing! I stopped them at this point as I didn't want it damaged as it would never go through the door on its end. Would of preferred my belongings to be buffered from the sides of the van with the surplus moving blankets in the vehicle. On route with me behind at a good distance they almost took a wrong turn and corrected by yanking the wheel. I felt that considering the cargo is fragile a gradual brake then a correction to the direction would of been more forgiving of the cargo on board. Ideally the route would of been discussed if it was unfamiliar. When I drive with my belongings on board, I drive very smoothly, accelerate and brake gently and no sudden moves or jolts.
Overall I'm ok about the move in the hope that my wrapping skills will see me right. Just feel that a moment taken to jointly access the situation and communicate/agree to a joint plan goes a long way. My much loved expensive sofa will end up sold if it is damaged which makes storing it somewhat pointless. Looking forward to seeing my belongings again in the future. Thanks, appreciate your help in my time of need.
