A.It was great to have Jack squeeze us in to come around for the scoping visit. We were told that the Allied were going to pick up at midday but unfortunately they didn't arrive until 3pm. They did however arrive bang on thr dot at midday to unload belongings a few days later. Allied had a more competitive price and they were able to move us on our desired dates, unlike another company we received a quote from.

Everything arrived perfectly in Nelson and another team of great guys there to unload into our storage facility. Super friendly, efficient and reliable! B.I had very good correspondence with my initial contact however had to chase up some information prior to move. I had expected slightly better communication to be honest. The team who packed our container were on time, very friendly and professional. There had been some communication problems within Allied and therefore packing itself started with a few hours delay only.
When the container arrived at our new house I noticed that some of our wooden furniture had been scratched during the transport which I am not happy about at all! Esp in one case I had asked the movers to please use bubble wrap for this specific furniture which was declined and blankets used instead. So overall have mixed feelings about the experience

M.Allied were incredibly accommodating when we had to change our moving dates a number of times due to Covid-19. The packing team were friendly and packed up our house while we were working from home with minimal disruption. They made moving city under lockdown conditions easy.
