Overall I was happy with the experience. I used CBD movers for the second time 2 weeks ago. Prior to the move the call centre/communicators were a little over the top ringing frequently and the day before when confirming the booking the person then said they weren't aware of the piano but I had emails and confirmation of payment for piano service. On the day all went well. they rang before arriving and arrived a little ahead of time which was fine. There was 2 men, they worked at a steady consistent pace and took reasonably good care of my items, there was no damage other than one minor mark on the piano. It was a 2- location move (so move to a home and then to storage facility) and it was all done within 2.5 hours. I have no complaints on this occasion.

Had bad experience in my previous move where i done most of the work and the movers were old and tired. These boys at CBD are professional and crack on to the work, very helpful and deceptively strong. Highly recommend a straight forward service with no BS.

Our movers were courteous, hard-working and efficient - they let us know when they were 25 minutes away to give warning, and showed up and got stuck in straight away. When our new place proved to have some tricky angles around doors etc. they were calm, problem-solving and determined to get our stuff in :) We were very impressed. It was a totally smooth and professional experience, and I would happily recommend them.

Well, must say mixed feedback poor and good. Booking was made ahead and have provided all necessary details, got job confirmed with date and time of arrival but on the day of move our job for cancelled due to the size of one of the item, saying it requires for men to carry. After trying with customer care, at first it was told they will get another team to come over to have a look and then confirm. After giving an assurance that from our end we have two men to help we got the movers arrived. The two boys who did the move was quite spot on they stored all items safe and helped to get things to new place on the day of booking itself.

The team were very helpful from the get go and were able to get me sorted in a matter of minutes with a early booking. The team that came to pick up our goods was very professional and fast. They dis not take there time with anything and made the move very easy. Will use them again!!

Overall the move went very smoothly and the 2 guys were very professional and careful with our things. I’ve given 4 stars because I found the communication leading up to the move a bit confusing regarding payment and time of arrival (they give a 4hour window for arrival which I think is ridiculous, but they ended up arriving in the morning which was great). They are the cheapest on the market (from my own research) so I think it’s worth it.

The time was initially delayed on the day. But once the movers arrived everything was done hard and fast. They had so much heavy furniture to carry including 2 double door fridges and they managed (2 pers). They saved us a tonne of work. Hard workers!

First time and day was cancelled due to weather but managed to do the move at 10.30am the next day. Communication was okay but wish the cancellation was sorted out sooner not 2 hours into my first time slot. Movers were quick and worth the price.

The level of communication was fantastic prior to the move, and even during the move the office called me to ask how everything was going and if I was satisfied. The boys worked incredibly hard for 10 hours with only one 30 minute break, it was astonishing to see. This is the second time I have used their services and I would definitely use them again. Would give more stars than 5 if could! 🤘✨ I'm not sure what's appenig with all these other low ratings but I am absolutely satisfied with my service with CBD movers. From communication on my initial call, to the last items being moved to my new place. The person on the initial call that I spoke with told me there was a window of te movers coming between 2-6pm and I was kinda nervous thinking they'd come late, but came pretty much not long after 2pm hit. And had all my stuff from my apartment in botany in the truck and left within 45 minutes. We then headed to my new apartment in Auckland city. And that took slightly longer to unload than it df to load but only because the stuff and to be moved to the 10th floor. And I didn't have to move a thing 🤘 although I felt bad that these lovely men were moving everything on their own. I mean I know that I'm paying them to do exactly that, but still felt bad for them. Especially when they did more waiting for me then I did for them. Thanks guys! Also, because the job was done before the time I booked and paid for, I received correspondence about my refund before I even managed to look through my invoice or even check my phone and realise that the job was done in shorter time. So I DEFINITELY recommend CBD movers I'll absolutely be using these guys for my next movement. Thank you!

I used CBD Movers Service on 7 Feb 2021. Arrival time was scheduled 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, they arrived 9:20 AM My new property has a small ramp that couldn't fit the moving car, they were able to carry my furniture over a small fence from our neighbor side (after asking for our neighbor's approval). I moved Glass items, TV by myself before their arrival (can't comment on moving fragile items but I think they would have done great with fragile items if they were not rushed). Overall service was great, would recommend to others.

After being overcharged by a whole hour for my move, I emailed their customer service team twice and received no response for 3 days despite when I was originally booking they would reply within the hour. After I left a one star review on google their customer service team called me to discuss my issues. They asked me to provide proof that the move only took 1 1/2 hours - which I did have and emailed through to them. I asked for proof that the move took 2 1/2 hours to which they told me 'that is what the movers told us'. I provided a screenshot of a text conversation with my mum letting her know the movers had arrived at 8.18AM and then provided a screenshot of me making payment once the move was completed, to the movers at 9.33AM - a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes. They originally offered to refund me for half an hour which I did not accept, they then told me as a 'good will offer' they would refund me for the whole hour. The movers were relatively quick and none of my items were damaged, however the deceitfulness of adding a whole hour to the move time would make me hesitant to recommend this company or ever use them again. Ensure you have proof of exactly what time the movers arrive and finish to avoid such issues. The customer service team handled my complaint well and I am relieved I have received my money back - however this situation should have never happened in the first place. A condition of being refunded was that I amend my review to be 3 stars, which is ethically questionable.

At the first, quotation of booking made by accountant team was very accurate and fast respond. Hourly price for moving was competitive price. However they send smaller truck at the moving day so I was struggle to move rest things with my van twice from Auckland to Waikato zone. When I complaint about this, customer service team offered $10 off from hourly charge but at the end of job, mover doesn't charge on this price. Mover said they didn't get message from customer service team. After I paid all, I contact to customer service again and they respond fast and made refund process. Overall I am happy with what movers did the job properly and kindly. They are very accurate and know how to put the things to truck as much as they can put in. I was happy to pay extra $80 for stairs even it wasn't on booking invoice. The customer service team respond very fast and willing to solve the problem well. It also can give good rating for customer service staff name Sofia. She email and call me no later than a day. Very professional and well communicated. I can recommend to others and will use again for next moving for sure. Just need to double check the size of truck for next time.

Movers arrived at the requested time with good prior notification. They were friendly and of tidy appearance. They worked energetically and job was completed in the expected time with no accidental damage . Their efficiency could be improved by further training in truck packing and unloading.

We found the moving guys themselves very friendly and helpful and would happily have them back. We thought the pricing was a bit unclear. Be aware that your first hour (their minimum charge) is $195 and you will not pay less than that. You will pay more, even if you are over the hour by 10 minutes.

When using CBD movers I ended up in s dispute with the movers who insisted on a cash payment of $500, which I thought was above a rate that seemed reasonable for the hours spent. They claimed their online payment system had broken down so it needed to be cash. When checking with head office the next day the movers claimed I had paid $330 and that I was confused about the event. HOWEVER, to the credit of CBD movers they decided to refund me the $170. The process was friendly and although slow CBD movers consistently worked towards its resolution. I give the RESOLUTIONS TEAM 5 STARS but as I am not happy with the movers the OVERALL RATING IS 3 STARS.

2 men helped me move house - hard working strong and helpful. No damage to goods stacked well. Done the job fast yahoo... couldn't fit all the gear in the one load so next time ill get a bigger truck. I was told the truck was slotted in from 10am -2pm this does not mean you have them at this time it means they will arrive between these hours. They did arrive at 1:40pm so that is on time according to the time frame. The price was very good value, no extra costs added other than 1/2 hour for admin.

I engaged CBD Movers last weekend to assist with relocating the contents of a 3 bedroom home to a storage facility. The communication the day before and the day of the relocation was extremely thorough and we were given plenty of notice as to when we could expect the truck and staff to show up. They worked methodically and efficiently which as a result, meant that we were able to complete the task within budget and on time. The unload to the storage facility was carefully executed to ensure that the use of space was maximized and allowed for any left over area to be utilised for additional items in the future. Highly recommend this company and would definitely engage their services again. The two removal guys did a great job, despatch did tell me a ... about a breakdown that didn't happen to delay what I thought was a pick up time over two hours earlier then they arrived. They had never been given my job for the agreed time. Also, make sure you check additional charges as I was not sure if the lounge would fit in the lift. When it didn't I was told it was $30 a flight of stairs which came to $150 to take the lounge down 5 flights in less than 10 minutes. I have no issue with paying additional for stairs or other extras but it was never mentioned or in the quote I accepted. My advice would be to include it in any quote in case stairs ended up being the only option.
