Great diary with a twist, the Batman memorabilia displayed is awesome and the owner is Batman, he does amazing work with children, he has a Batmobile too. I salute you and all you do, out of this wonderful shop, truly a very special man.

Not too hot inside. Awesome aircon. Well stocked with a good selection of products. Clear dividers at the till. Wheelchair accessible and easy parking outside. A neat display of Batman and superhero stuff. You may even be lucky enough to see Batman and his secret Bat Cave. Great work Random Acts of Batman on Facebook!

Love the cleanlyness and the superhero art deco and it's well organized and stocked too.

Amazing things to see. And Batman's generosity goes far above and beyond anyone else I've met. Makes visiting the batcave magical. Love love love the memorabilia

This place has an amazing range of superhero memorabilia... it is half museum and half convenience store. Worthwhile going in a buying a drink then have a look around.

15Dec17 I stop in here on Sundays after church to buy ice cream for dessert after lunch with sisters, brother, nieces and nephews 20 or so doors down the road. Cheerful service. Good to see all the accommodation construction finished and tenants moved in at the end of the block of stores. Also the laundromat is open and well patronised.
16Nov16 One of my favourite stores on the planet Earth. This store was built around 1964/65 about two years after my parents shifted our family (two adults and three children at the time) from 240 Greenlane Road (Epsom) to Velvet Crescent. The successive store owners have been a key element of social life and provisioning - not to mention CREDIT for mothers whose families have been desperate for butter or sugar or milk or bread for the children but the husband has spent the family's weekly income on alcohol or drugs - in the nearby streets and households. My brother and sisters and I always buy icecream, milk and bread here to support the store and its owners. It doesn't matter if the icecream is 50% more than the nearby Countdown supermarket or New World megashop - we want this store to stay open.
