Super interesting European forest, lots of beautiful walks, right next to freedom camping sites, with DOC facilities nearby. The sculptures are beautifully done. Its a shame they dont do a very good job of representing NZ wildlife. Just possums and squirrels and rats?? What on earth where they thinking?? Like the craftsmanship is fantastic but where is the pride of kiwi animals? It did have fantails and tuatara which was why I gave this 4 stars.

This heritage walk is just fantastic. Well formed track. The carvings are amazing. Highly recommend.

Nice, short and easy walk about 30 min to see all the sculptures

The sculpture walk is the number 2 tourist attraction in Hamner Springs. Entrance is on Jollies Rd, just passed the bridge, parking on the left, sculpture walk on the right. Great for families. The sculptures add to what is already a pleasant walk through an old pine forest. Recommend doing the walk if you have time during your visit.

It's not just a forest. It's an experimental exotic plantation a century after it was begun! With a humorously cute sculpture trail to explore.
We loved the walk as a family with a 4yo in tow but it would also have been great on bikes, even for the youngest.

Beautiful Forest. Great walks on a sunny day. The sculptures are a nice touch, especially for kids to notice on the walk.

Very nice to see all the carving of animal. It must of took some one a lot of time to carve them. Very nice and well worth doing this walk.
