Reviews of Duart House
We had a visit to Duart house with Peggy showing our Rebus club around this wonderful old house.
A very nice venue to have functions at
Beautiful building and gardens .
Enjoyed the beer and cider event. The band was good also.
Beautiful gardens, beautiful building.
Is earthquake prone, so a source of worry there.
Difficult to access the creek/ walking area below (impossible for a wheelchair)
Not another soul in sight so was nice to wander freely. Dont expect totally manicured gardens but they were nice. Unfortunately not being first Sunday in the month the house wasn't open so may be back some other time to visit it.
in Havelock North for three years in the 1990s, I had never come across Duart House. I didn't get to go inside as it's closed most days but it is a rather beautiful 1800s grand house and pleasant Gardens. Worth a little diversion to see an interesting piece of New Zealand history
Grounds are lovely. I see lots of recent native plantings near the creek. Very pleasant. Have not been inside.
We looked at this historic building for our wedding its lovely and I liked the character but it was too small for all our guest
What a beautiful historical Building well kept beautiful gardens and grounds inside beautiful well kept home full of history if only the walls could talk. Food wow outstanding on another level. Highly recommend 👍
Lovely venue. Glad we had our wedding here. Rachel was lovely and very helpful.
Visited for a wedding. Extensive gardens and a colonial house. Good central function room and deck. Very relaxed and casual place for a wedding.
Wonderful historic home which can be hired for events...great place
A beautiful stately home with fantastic grounds, perfect for a wedding or function, and even more so for the craft beer festival we attended.
It is a beautiful environment. I play croquet there. They also often host weddings and other private events.
This was a great venue for a craft beer and food festival.
House was closed when we visited but the garden was well worth a visit.
Gorgeous spot and peaceful too until you get invaded by off-leash dogs
Lovely destination for events etc, or just a nice wander around the gardens.
The Manager Anna of Duet House is a great asset to the historical home.
Lovely place for a picnic in the well manacured gardens.
Absolutely stunning little gem right in the middle of Havelock North.
Nice grounds, and the house is well preserved.
