A great place to walk around and see the unusual rock formations, a real hidden gem on the road trip through beautiful Northland.

Such a beautiful peaceful reserve. Go for a wee walk. We stopped here on our way back home. Great place to relax stretch before you continue driving. Has toilets as well. Great place to stop for lunch and a little break. Very clean and tidy well maintained grounds.

Great relaxing place to go for a walk with dogs nice swim or just to sit quietly with a book or lunch

A great place to stop for lunch on our travels north. Which has been many times!! However, driving into the Reserve one has to dodge the large potholes that a small car might even disappear into. Obviously used for freedom camping (but not in self contained vehicles) as evidence of rubbish was spread about, each time. Great to see rubbish bins provided tho!!
