Reviews of Pioneer Village Kaikohe
Great place to visit while I'm Kaikohe. Check out all the old machines, small cafe with snacks and coffee. Relaxed atmosphere
Absolutely loved our visit - even on a dull and wet day, Pioneer Village was delightful!! So much love goes into the upkeep and it shows - gardens are so tidy. Staff are fabulous and so friendly, coffee was great by the fire! Wish we had reason to have a wedding there - a perfect spot for it!!
Lovely staff. Great history in the buildings worth a visit
Surprisingly well set up and maintained museum, the volunteer staff certainly know how to make the most of funds. Certainly worth a visit, don’t drive too fast or you’ll miss it. Accessible for wheelchairs and leashed dog friendly.
Authentic..full of the bicultural beginnings of Kaikohe and Northland.
My first visit. Pleasant experience. Lovely setting for the cottage - variety of plantings, and lovely pond/water feature. Nice see able collectables on display. Quality cafe food, drinks and service.
I'm always pleasantly surprised at how wwl kept and maintained all the buildings and gardens are. Issa a beautiful place for photos, events and a lazy afternoon with the kids.
My son loved getting on every tractor and truck and exploring every building.
This is a gray wash to spend time with the family! They also put on a fantastic Halloween event where all the buildings are decorated and the Kids can go trick or treating in their costumes.
LOVELY GEM IN THE STREETS OF KAIKOHE, BEAUTIFUL GARDENS, HISTORY GALORE AND DIVINE COFFEE AND CAKE, AWESOME KIWANIA TO PURCHASE, VERY REASONABLY PRICED, FABULOUS STAFF, LOVELY VISIT, WE'LL BE BACK 5 +++++
Really cool so much to see, I need at least 2 days next time to go through the whole village thoroughly. Love it so cosy and beautiful
