K.Without a doubt one of the safest, cleanest motels I have ever stayed in. The high degree of professionalism and integrity demonstrated by the owner is reflected by the cleaning staff and all involved. Great services, spacious, well appointed, quiet unit looking out over the peaceful vista of gardens and lawns, serviced to a very high standard daily, large comfortable bed, efficient heat pump, huge TV, free wifi, Netflix, etc, sunny, private patio. Excellent standard of service in every respect . Modest decor is reflected in the modest pricing, service is top notch, five star.

H.Unit was exceptionally very clean & fresh. High tech devices, wifi. Perfect for the business traveller or families with large grounds for kids. The staff & family were very kind & helpful.
B.Beautiful grounds. Duvet need cleaning as had old stains. Carpet worn. Heating not great. To me it was dated and a little tired. But a safe location.
M.We enjoyed our stay at Masterton Motor Lodge. It's conveniently located off the main road. The grounds are spacious, and the rooms adequate. The kitchen is functional. We stayed in a two bed one bath. Our hosts were friendly and very patient with a last minute request to print and scan documents late one night. It's possible to have a cookout, play lawn tennis (racquets and balls provided), volleyball, swim (towels provided) and a few other activities. The on-site restaurant provides dine in or room service. The free wifi is unlimited, although during our stay we did have some trouble staying connected. We were assured that this is just a once off. For example, during conferences many people connect with no issues. Free DIY Laundry facilities are available. However, the washing machine does take a long time. We will stay here again though. Checkout was easy. We left an item behind and Andy kindly helped to get it back to us. - I was back here again after misreading the train schedule - no trains back to Wellington on a Thursday night. I was taken in without a reservation. Thanks!
