Had the most amazing experience. Guide David was absolutely amazing had the best holiday, kayaking, lodges, food, service. Everyone including the bus driver were so courteous, helpful and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend anyone to do the 5 day tour.

We did the seal walk which was fantastic. The trip out was great, well organised, efficient and informative. The actual walk etc was perfect. The trip back was a bit frustrating. We were held up at one of the pick up points for about 20 min. It was hot, not many people wearing masks, and lots of noisy uncontrolled children. My advice would be to take a jumper that allows to sit outside regardless of how cold the wind is.

My partner and I did the full day kayaking trip and this was the highlight of our trip. Seeing the national park from this angle is incredible and you get to go to gorgeous bays and lagoons that you otherwise wouldn't. Our guide Doc was awesome - super knowledgeable, really lovely and honestly made the trip a thousand times better!

Helpful & friendly stuff at the Wilson’s counter where you can purchase ferry tickets & tours to Abel Tasman. Stuff in a ferry were also very friendly. We took a return ferry rides to Anchorage and we enjoyed comfortable & beautiful rides with Wilsons.

Excellent service! We took Wilsons water taxi for a return trip to Anchorage Bay for the afternoon. From the service at the booking booth right through to the point when we got dropped off on the way back every single person was extremely helpful, providing excellent advice and showing great knowledge of the area. And kids were riding free too - bonus! Highly recommended!

Our family of 4 went for vista cruise in Abel Tasman , and enjoyed the sightseeing and beautiful color of the sea water. We had a good swim and snorkelling on medland beach, unfortunately we left our 3 pairs of hiking shoes on the beach , but staff from Wilson fetched them for us the same day, thank you so much your excellent service. You can trust Wilson, I could not recommend them more.

We had an absolutely wonderful day in the Abel Tasman with Wilson's. They gave me a lot of time between stops and pick up (great for 'dragging' along two kids). They loved the boat ride out and especially enjoyed sitting on the upper deck. Thanks!

We did the Great Day out, and it sure did impress! Easy booking process and super friendly staff. A wonderful boat trip along the coast with commentary to tell you whats what. The hike is very do-able, even if 8 months pregnant!! There’s enough time to enjoy the views as you walk across the saddle and down to barks beach, so stunning. Highly recommended Wilson’s, there’s no mucking around and they have the schedule all sorted and can tailor things if needed. See you next time!

This cruise gave a great view of Abel tasman. It was too windy for the local kayak companies, so we got dropped off to hike. I almost wonder if hiking abel tasman was a better than kayaking. It was stunning. There are bathrooms on the route. They ask that you take all your garbage off the island, please do. The boat trip is between 30 minutes and an hour and a half, depending on where you are dropped off. They slowly drive by an island to show off local wildlife. We saw baby seals in late March. You can hike to gorgeous beaches, and the only people on them are the others that boated out with you and sometimes hikers. Totally worth doing. If you get seasick, they have ginger beer and a hot ginger drink on board to help!

Friendly, helpful staff. Taxi out to our Medlands destination was fast and fabulous fun. Slower large boat back had indoor and outdoor seating. Brilliant day at the beach on the abel tasman park

Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. Stunning day for kayaking and being a beginner we opted for the guided Kayak tour. Miles, our kayak guide amazing. Very friendly, patient when we stopped regularly for photos, caring and highly experiencing kayaking guide. Showed us around the kaiterikaiteri bay. Would highly recommend anyone specifically those who haven’t done kayaking before to experience this guided kayak tour.

The three-day kayak trip with them was very well organised. I would certainly go again. The landscape is incredible and sleeping at the lodges allows you to enjoy it at quieter times for sunset and sunrise. The tides are fascinating, changing the landscape completely from afternoon to night. The accomodation was much better than I expected from a lodge in a national park, definitively worth it. The cooked food and selection of wines/beer in the evenings was also great (although the lunch sandwiches could offer sligthly more choices). The Wilson staff is very friendly and helpful and our kayak guide, Miles, was great.

We did the Vista Happy Hour Cruise. The guides were very helpful and informative. The trip was very reasonably priced and lasted for 1 1/2hrs. It went around to Bark Bay and stopped off and picked up people on the way back. We got to see seals and best of all they had happy hour drink specials!! They had a very good selection of beers and wines at a good price.

Best beaches in the world. Ferry’s to beach on Abel Tasman National Park is v expensive but worth it. Recommend camping on national park to cover it all (takes about a week) and not be bankrupt

We did the boat trip with Kajakking and hike to Anchorage which was a great experience we had a lovely Tour Guide wo showed us around the coast and told a lot of interesting stories. The light lunch was ok, especially for that price. I would recommend to do the high tide walk in any case because it gives you a much nicer view.

We had a really great time with Wilsons in Abel Tasman. We decided to do a combination of hiking and kayaking. Visited some great spots with the kayak and our friendly tour guide provided us with some additional information. The hike was short but with a nice view. I would recommend such a tour at the cost of Abel Tasman.

The Wilsons trips to able tasman are well organized and show the beauty of the able tasman NP. If you only here for one day it is the perfect option to get a glimps of the nature and what the np has to offer. In case you are really interessted in the local stories sitting inside might be required, as it is difficult to understand whats spoken on the upper deck (like on many boat tours). I made a tour including a bit of walking and they made sure all people are off at the right place.

We did the 3 day self guided walk. Everything about it was fantastic. Obviously the walk itself, but, what made it was how well everything was organised and quality of the accommodation and food provided. Highly recommended.

We had a full day of cruise and kayak with Wilsons Abel Tasman. It was a perfect day to visit the national park. The staff was approachable and informative, especially our kayak guide, Carina. Due to the quiet season of the year, we were the only visitors doing the kayak with Carina. She brought us to lots of interesting places, including a quiet and beautiful spot for lunch and cool dip. She even made us a hot beverage! Thanks for making our visit to this national park so enjoyable!

Had an easy-breezy trip thanks to your company with beautiful lodges and lots of yummy food. Don't have to think about anything or lift a finger. Our guides were great, Rewa has a beautiful energy and Jack is totally awesome and the best kayak guide! Give them both a raise! $$$

TLDR: Great service, friendly people, highly recommended. We had an unexpectedly long time in Kaiteriteri due to changes in our travel plans, and we went with Wilson’s outings four times in about a week. Every outing was wonderful; the staff were accommodating and friendly, and helped us retrieve several items we mindlessly left aboard the boats. Every trip was on their main power catamaran, the Vista, which was well equipped, clean, and very well suited for the role. special shout outs: - to skipper Murray, who retrieved my wife’s turquoise earring with significant sentimental value. - to Aaron, who provided consistently helpful guidance on our options with Wilson’s, and general pointers on what to look out for to have a good time. - to Corina, our wonderful kayak guide who was so relaxed, confident and skilful. Next time we’re in Abel Tasman we’ll definitely come back to Wilson’s!

It was a fun day. Bring a jacket and something to cover up. It was hot on the shore and cooled off as you are on the boat for a lot of the trip. We did the Great Day Out Cruise Walk Adventure and it was the boat ride, a picnic lunch, and a hike through the woods down to a sandy beach. Recommend arriving early and being down by the water when the boat arrives to get the best seats on board.

We had a really good trip. Could not recommend more highly. I did the walk and our guide (Phil) was really good. Heard the others on the Kayaking were also good too. A really fun and very scenic trip

Great tour, well staffed with nice boats. Loads of itineraries to choose from, we did the full day cruise with a 3 hour stop at Medlands beach (where we did the walk which says 45 mins each way but was less even with 2 kids). A really great way to see Able Tasman if you have a young family and can’t tramp for longer periods. Also dealt with a booking change really well.

Great place to bring visiting friends, taylor the trip to your needs, stay on board for a return trip that takes in the sights of the Abel Tasman park, get off at Medlands n put your feet up at Bark Bay (a short 10 min walk away) for a relax in the sun or do a walk between bays for a later pick up. The options are endless and friendly team at Wilsons will help you plan your trip. Already thinking about what I'll do next.

Good trip and useful info from the captain. The girl who was looking after the bar and sleeping most of the time was pretty miserable (Lucy?) but otherwise all good.

Had a great day trip leaving and returning at Torrent Bay with our guide Seth who was a great chat and very informative. We would recommend and also do another type of trip if and when we return. The accomadation at Torrent Bay and smell coming from there Kitchen was amazing.

Wonderful golden beach best for starting to explore Spectacular Abel Tasman National Park🌊🛥🛶🏞

We went on a very wet day so the coastline was obliterated by rain and not that attractive.That was no fault of Wilson's. Their timing based on times listed on the brochure was well off. We were told that we could pick up the return trip earlier at 12 noon at Medlands beach because of the bad weather. We approached there at 11.45 and the boat was already on the way out . So we walked back to Bark Bay to spend another 3hrs in the wet for the last pickup at 3.10 pm. Knowing this may be early too we arrived at Medlands at 2.30pm. The boat was arriving and we were picked up. Otherwise we'd be left overnight having to write "HELP" in the sand as in the movie Castaway. Wilson's need to keep to the published times. I am not a Skipper but maybe the boat speed could be reduced to get to locations on time. I believe there were other passengers taken back by early arrival of the boat. The staff on the boat were very courteous and apologised with offering a free cup of tea. No problems there.. I would use Wilson's again if times were guaranteed. Reading the response it doesn't answer the question of why the timing is not kept to based on the published times. And it is not true we refused to change our booking at Medlands to 12 noon. The offer to be picked up then was basically a throw away comment as we left the boat at Medlands . Would the boat have stayed till 3.10 pm if we were not there?

Had such an amazing day doing a full day kayaking tour with Sam! Such an amazing experience highly recommend seeing the beautiful scenery this place has to offer! Sam was a great tour guide with great knowledge, and cool stories to tell! Thanks so much :))

We really enjoyed our kayak tour where we were surrounded by numbers of seals. Beautiful beaches, clear water and sunshine - simply an amazing experience. After they kayak tour we had plenty of time to explore a peaceful island before we were picked up by the boat. All worked very well and our guide was absolutely fantastic, helpful and had a lot of good advices for our overall journey.

There is no better way to explore Abel Tasman! Our hosts were courteous in the extreme and highly competent. My wife and I spent one overnight in the Torrent Bay Lodge with our 5 month old daughter. Our host, Brook, and chef, Robbie, along with tour guides Sam and Morag were superlative. Our meals were delicious and Brook took every extra effort possible to make sure special arrangements were easily taken care of for traveling with an infant. I could not more highly recommend Wilson's and I guarantee I will travel with them in the future! If I had no time constraints, their 5 day or 3 day trips seem like the absolute best way to see this park. Their VISTA cruise boats drop you off easily on the beach without getting your feet wet. The guides self- curate your trip for your personal tastes and then set you off or accompany you as necessary. The lodge rooms are nicer than rooms in the average hotel and are situated in the most picturesque natural beauty. The food, several options available is all gourmet and prepared at the highest skill level. Most importantly, the service of your hosts is personal, accommodating and the perfect balance of support without intrusiveness. Book with them now!

Great day Kayaking around the Abel Tasman - Seeing some Stingrays, Seals and lots of bird life. Jack is a great guide, very knowledgeable and good fun. Highly recommend the Beaches, bays and Seals day trip and Jack as a guide!

Things were going really well. The kayaking tour was excellent. We saw numerous birds and fur seals. My husband even tipped our guide as we pulled our kayaks onto the beach. Then, a small boat pulled up and our guide loaded the kayaks onto the boat. Then the guide hopped into the small boat, leaving us "stranded" on the cold beach (about 13 celsius) for over an hour to wait for the tour boat to pick us up. And the water was too cold for a swim. I could see doing this on hot days, but there was nothing to do, not even chairs on the beach, the sand was very rocky so it was difficult to walk, and we did not have proper footwear for hiking.

We booked the swing bridge, bush and beach trip. It was amazing. Staff were brilliant and chatty. Boat part was informative and they stopped to show us the sights. We stopped to see a seal colony on the way back too. A good 3.5hr walk in between too. Seen some of the other tour boats too. Think we made the right decision choosing Wilsons.

We had a spectacular morning kayaking with our guide Caleb out to Split Apple Rock. My 12yo daughter and I were paired up in a double kayak, so there was no concern she wouldn't be able to keep up with the small group. At the beach we were given superb instructions, provided all the gear we needed, and then we headed out. Additional kayaking tips were given throughout, as well as information about the plants, animals and history of the area. We highly recommend this family friendly tour for both skilled and beginner paddlers.

We had the best holiday last week on a 5 day guided trip of Abel Tasman With Wilson’s. Our guides, transport, the lodges and the food were all 5 star. Recommend this trip for anyone wanting to enjoy Nature with a little challenge, good food and good company. NZ support your country during these difficult times

Excellent !! Couldn't have been better! Our Beaches, kayak and walk tour was incredible, Abel Tasman is an amazing place and we had the Best guide ever! LIANA was really friendly, nice and profesional She told us a lot about the national Park. She was great explaining everything and very enthusiastic. i lost my watch at one of the Beaches and she found it the following day and get it delivered to me! Would absolutely recommend and choose Wilson 's again!

Went there today. Without preparation unsure that I could pop on and off. If I had the time and knowledge and if i were to it again. I would pack my swimming costume and good walking shoes. The boat ride was great staff very helpful and the scenery to die for.

These guys are the best. If you want a sea shuttle to take you to the most spectacular beaches anywhere on the South Island, these are your guys. Extremely courteous and professional. When circumstances prevented our return on the normal beach landing, they brought out the extension (a heavy contraption) so we could comfortably get back on the return area. Simply outstanding.

These water taxis are just like a boat tour in their own right. Very comfortable and dips in and out of the various bays. On a nice day look for fish in the shallow water , seals on the islands and await your drop off point

The tours are amazing value for money and the staff are outstanding, so helpful and knowledgeable. we have throughly enjoyed every trip with Wilsons to the various bays and always look forward to our next trip with them A++++

We had a great time on the boat trip and a nice walk in Able Tasman park. Front of the boat on the outside is the place to be as it's away from the engine noise.

Great crew on the vista. Very flexible with the times of pickup as well. Be aware as hiker that in a even in moderate wind a landing on the northern part of the park might not be possible. Plan accordingly with added food and enhance your chances by always getting the first boat (so if this is a miss you still have a chance the same day)

What a fun day in Abel Tasman! We called Wilsons last minute, and they were very accommodating. We did a half-day kayak tour around the park, and we were not disappointed. Hope, our guide, was fantastic, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. I definitely recommend Wilsons!

Great experience gorgeous beaches.

We too the boat to the beach . From there there 's a beautiful climb and walk thru the forest with lays of native plants and birds . The sound of the sea in your ears while walking thru the forest is unique and something I've never experienced before . You can see the sea at various points along the walk thru the trees . The track was good and comfortable. We walked for 7.5 km and climbed down to another small cove . The sea was emerald green and pleasant cold . People were kayaking . It was heavenly

Tour was excellent value for money, great facilities. The 2 hour walk (we did in under that time) was incredible and well sign-posted. Took an hour to find a park in Kaiteriteri though, so go early!!

Amazing experience. It is the little things that make taking the ferry out to Abel Tasman with these guys an excellent journey. The very friendly staff, the informative narration by the captain as you go out and the stop looking for seals on the way back was more than we could have asked for. Chose these guys if you are going for a walk in the Abel Tasman.

These trips are definately ones for the bucket list, prestine waters, golden sand beaches, native bush, tranquil lagoons a swing bridge and even a natural water slide await. The lodges and staff are a welcome rest after a day's kayaking, walking or boat trip, with wonderful food & nz wines. Take a glass, sit on the beach and watch the sunset... This is where lifetime great memories are made. If camping or a day trip is preferred, Wilson cater for that too. If long walks aren't your thing, Check out the boat trip and short walk options. Wilson Abel Tasman cater for everyone and every ability and age range. I absolutely love the trips they offer, my favorite was the 3 day walk and lodgestay. Highly recommended

Did a kayak tour to he split apple rock. We had Joseph as a guide on our tour! He was absolutely awesome! We even went with the kayak into a little cave! Organisation was top and the Tour was incredible! Money well spend!

Excellent service from the staff on what was clearly a busy day for them, we ended up stranded on a beach for about an extra 1.5 - 2hrs due to a medical emergency, these things happen. The Wilson's staff member who stayed with us was fantastic and went above and beyond walking 30 minutes to a lodge that had filtered water to fill up everyone water-bottles.

We did a four hour walk after cruising up the coast on the Vista. Nice boat an friendly staff. Beware that if you booked with an agent (i-site) you have to exchange your voucher for a ticket before boarding.

Superb Abel Tasman Shuttle Service. They stop at all of the important places, explain what's special about it and furthermore show you the seals :) We booked two one way tickets, because we wanted to walk from Onetahiti/Tonga Quarry to Anchorage (about 5 hours). We arrived ready for an earlier boat and it was no problem to take it instead of the booked later one.

We spent an amazing day sea kayaking then hiking through the park. Guides were very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. Great company to go with, I would highly recommend!

We did the one day trip from anchorage. We have seen some dolphins from the boat on the trip to Anchorage. Awesome beaches but a lot of people in the high season. Would do that again but not in the high season.

Perfect organisation, I had the most amazing day in the AT National Park. They even had blankets on board for the chilly boat cruise which were not provided by other operators I had used previously. Thank you for the wonderful day out.

More of a taxi service than a cruise, they have pick ups from various part of the abel tasman park and run some (I think six) services during the day. It's a nice way to see the entirety of abel tasman in one day, just a rather boring one, as the entire ride takes about 4 hours.

Recommend the top deck of the ferry if weather is calm. Difficult to understand commentary from within cabin. Additional bit to the far north of Abel tasman is not worthwhile if not getting off.

I went for a 3 day self-guided hike and stayed at the lodges. Absolutely beautiful. Wilson's made it easy so I only carried a light day pack

What a brilliant 3 days, our guides, Sylvan & Crystal were excellent, both helpful & professional, adding to the complete experience, the track is well maintained and apart from a few taxing hills the majority of the walk was just magnificent through some of the loveliest scenery I've had the pleasure of hiking thru, and arriving at the waterfront lodges at the end of each day to a three course dinner, bags waiting in our rooms and a comfy bed was just the icing on the cake, I highly recommend the whole package, especially the part where you only have to carry your day pack👍

We were terribly lucky with the weather and our lovely guide to do a kayak tour. I can recommend bringing a zip lock bag for your phone.

We went for a Beach, Seals kayak trip - it was great - well ballanced kayaking time, rest time, and free time to enjoy some walking in the park. Proffesional guides.

Great day out, the weather was not the best but it added to the fun on the way back on the smaller boat as we zipped through the water.

A brilliant day on the water with guide Olivia. The scenery was amazing, the water warm and olives knowledge of the area was appreciated. Will be back to do a longer expedition in the future.

(Translated) Very good! We loved the tour, we chose Beaches, bays and seals. First we went with a cruise to Torrent Bay seeing the main points of interest. Then we disembarked to take the Kayaks (eye to land you get wet to the knees), our guide Jacinta was super friendly and explained and helped us during the two hours of kayaking. We saw other companies on the same tour and we thought Wilsons was the best organized and most complete. They even gave us two cups of recuero during the lunch (with a hot drink).
