WOW!!!! better than expected.
Only paid $5 for 2 kids and 1 adult. So very reasonable.
Wide variety of incredible things from past history.
My 2 boys had great fun with interaction pieces, we sat on horse buggy, and there was a free quiz page printed to do also a big vault too.
Two lovely gentleman with a wealth of knowledge on hand....

More than meets the eye. Great local history with interesting displays. Well worth a visit

Curated with love, containing exhibits to show how life was and has changed. Many of the original items have been carefully restored at the museum, making the whole thing feel like a labour of love. It's bigger than it appears when you first go in, and you're encouraged to touch many of the exhibits, making the whole thing feel like a journey of discovery. Well worth the $5.

This is a definite must see. Our whole family thought this was the best museum ever. The kids 10, 7 & 4 didn’t want to leave the hands on exhibition hall where we all got to step back in time. Very highly recommend!

Very reasonably priced . I took two 12 yr old girls. They checked out what a well to do household in the 1890s would have had in their house. Then came the interactive part of sitting in an old fashioned school learning to write with real ink and copy letters onto paper or scratch on a slate board. Then they played shop with an old till and £.s.d. their favourite activity was dressing up in old costumes, sitting in a carriage or using an old fashioned phone. Heaps to see there. Very helpful and enthusiastic volunteers/staff. Thoroughly recommend it. They have specific diplays on from June to October 2018.

Very cool. Especially the interactive area for "kids". Did some old school washing up, typing and sewing. Used some weights and played a phonograph.

A small museum with a fascinating collection illustrating settlers life in CHB. Includes an interesting special feature on a notorious local quack who went to jail in early 1900's....Very friendly volunteer staff.
