Especially if you are into cars
Has a great atmosphere to the place.
Can even enjoy sitting in some of the old classic for photos.
Great gift shop and cafe
M. N.Nelson Classic Car Museum is a must visit in Nelson. They have super clean and tidy organised classic cars, two different areas so visit both zones. The colours, selection, placement, the vast collection of models is breathtaking. Plenty of on site parking, Nice Cafe and souvenir shop. It will take you about one hour or more. Very close to Nelson Airport.

Downside - very little memorabilia about actual cars . Other than that . If you are a cat lover you will thank enjoy the place .

J. P.Awesome car collection, well worth the visit. Meticulously restored and very cool and diverse collection that's bound to hit a chord with any enthusiast young or old. The cafe and the gift shop are also awesome and well worth depending a little extra time in. Hard to pick a fav car as so many amazing vehicles. Do yourself a favour and enjoy the ride.
S. B.A great experience. Great variety of cars, informative signs and many unique cars. Most of them are also not enclosed, so we were able to walk around them and look inside, which made the experience even better. We spent two hours thoroughly looking at each car, and enjoyed every second. The woman working at the counter was lovely and we chatted for a while. Would definitely recommend!

Q.Such a unique and fascinating place to go in Nelson. The array of classic cars just blew our minds. My dad never asks for photos taken of him but was a child in a candy shop here and had multiple photos and videos taken. Definitely recommend.
