Red is a very unique establishment encompassing an art gallery, design store and cafe. It is such an enjoyable experience to sit in the cafe and sip on a coffee while admiring the art. The coffee and food are great and the service is exceptional. It has become my regular morning coffee stop.

Great food. Portion could be bigger but was sufficient. Having the cafe in the gallery is a nice touch and offers something different. But it must be noted the gallery is easy to ignore if that is not your thing and just want go focus on your food.

One of the 2 best coffees in Nelson in a funky art gallery. Don't take your small children here if they will run around the place as there is a lot of interesting stuff to buy and look at. Great ideas for kids gifts as well

SPAIN
The experience of his pilgrimage through America, Turkey, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco, Greece, Holland, France and Germany leaves a deep mark on his art and determines his artistic vocation. Alberto Lombardo was born in Messina on December 25, 1953. 17 years he moved with his family to Turin where he began his artistic career. For several years, Lombardo travels the world: America, Turkey, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco, Greece, Holland, France and Germany. The experience of his pilgrimage through these countries leaves a deep mark on his art and determines his artistic vocation. In 1994, Lombardo arrives in Tenerife and decides to settle on the island. Meet and visit the Canarian sculptor and painter Arnoldo Evora, and the Madrid painter Carlos Sanz. He carries out numerous works and decides to devote himself exclusively to the development of his art, through which and through the different techniques he elaborates, he manages to express his particular vision of the world. In November 1996, in the San Francisco Park of Puerto de la Cruz the The artist's first exhibition, and his works are defined by critics, as an expression of a magical surrealism. After the exhibition, several of his works are acquired by local people and of German nationality, being therefore Germany and Spain the only two countries in Europe through which the artist's works circulated until then.In the months of August and September of 1997, the Painter presents a second exhibition of his own, giving the title "The Door of Magic Cubism", where Lombardo manifests several techniques that are more pleasant to the public, allowing the introduction of his works to other European countries such as Finland, Italy and France. The exhibitions and their works arouse curiosity and criticism in several local and international press reports. Lombard has developed a unique color technique that generates an inner fantasy to anyone who is enjoying it. His art is three-dimensional, durable, therapeutic. There is an exciting mix of cultures. Each work carries a particular message in its own picturesque language.
