J.If you are into old military aircraft including ones from both world wars then worth the visit. Most areas are wheel chair friendly with the exception of the upstairs converted model display area and part museum. Staff and volunteer guides were very accommodating and knowledgeable. The airport was pretty lively on the weekend we went. Private helicopters and planes taking off quite often.
P.Great sets of planes from first and second war. Most of them still able to fly. Amazing place to visit, family with kids friendly.
J.Definitely a under-rated activity. This aviation museum offers a short but concise look at a range of aircraft dating from WW1 to modern day. The staff are friendly and more than welcome to inform you of the aircrafts histories and the large collection of air plane models certainly adds to the experience. Well worth a visit.
A.What a great place ... nice way to spend a rainy arvo ... I love watching Warbirds flying ... but seeing them close up even better
k.It is one of the best place every I like the plane Especially the open days the best but need more shows and planes because I really want to see 2x spitfires 2x mustangs, Kittyhawk and yak3 full noise but I really do like Ardmore I hope there is another one this year if not I cannot want for next 👍🏻🤘🏻😊😎✈️

I.Great little museum for aviation enthusiast and the staff were superb can highly recommend a visit, great views of the airfield and there is the Ardmore Cafe with a terrace outside also worth a visit.
H.Really nice volunteer Bruce showed me around their Number 1 Hangar. Great to see so many aircraft they have on display there are still airworthy.
W.Really enjoyed the 2 1/2 hours to have a good look around. The history is amazing to read on battles that took place. Lest We Forget.

R.Attended Warbirds airshow and static displays today. Excellent range of classic WW1 and WW2 aircraft and also WW2 reenactors. Fun day out and seeing the high standard of aircraft restorations also on display (Spitfire & Kittyhawk) you could not help but appreciate the technical expertise and craftmanship of those involved. Excellent aerobatics and the Spitfire was a highlight.
B.Fantastic collection of WW1 and WW2 aircraft! The volunteers are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. A must do on a good day when they take some of the collection out for flying!

A.Spent a wonderful informative day being shown around all the hangers as part of a Young Eagles field trip. We especially loved the WW2 hanger with the wooden propeller planes.

V.If you're interested in vintage planes then this is the place for you. 2 hangars full of interesting planes such as AT6 Harvards, Fokker tri plane, Mustang etc. Excellent volunteers have lots of knowledge to impart.
