Absolutely Stunning. The walk is approximately 3hours there and back but longer if you stop and explore and take in the beautiful scenery. There are 2 ways, one has a spot where you can swim which is right next to the carpark. There's picnic tables and I think a toilet. The other takes you to one piece of water. Wear good hiking shoes and its an amazing hike, take the camera and water and you will love it
Such an experience here! 8km walking trip from the parking lot, to the scenery and then back! Such crystal clear water I wanted to swim in it so badly but I know that’s not allowed. The walk is mostly level, great family outing! Would go again when I have a whole day free!
Stunning place to wander along the trail to the end. Great colours looking into the crystal clear water. Worth the time and effort. Beautiful native environment.
Water is so clean and blue . You can see fish's underneath . A long walk following great views and falls. Make sure you take water with you . Magical place
It's a good our and a half walk (unless you come from the other end) and is a scenic ramble next to the river until you get to the blue pools. There were weeds and plants when we went so it was not very blue. Still very picturesque and worth the walk. Take water and wear sensible shoes.
Such an amazing free activity 30 mins from Rotorua. Make sure you walk further than the boardwalk to walk through what seems like a forest as that is where it's the most beautiful. We started at the Leslie Road end that worked well.
still love visiting this gem of a spot. Used to be one of my favorite places to swim (in 2015 before the ban was effective). Great to see some level of vegetation restoration. Good spot for pictures and memories.
Omg!! Love this place . Just make sure you keep walking untill you reach the stairs . Best place is hidden so far away . Do not visit in after noon when sun is on your head , I did that and almost died with heat . Early morning or evening would be best.
What a beautiful place to be. Was so tempted to jump in..lol I'd take the kids back for a long walk and a picnic only down fall was the toilets😒
A hidden gem in Waikato area. The walkway from the car park to the Spring is short & easy. You’ll see a small waterfall as you approach the end of the track. The water is so clear & clean. The contrast of the green bush against the blue water presents a vivid wonderland type of landscape. Warning - swimming in the Springs is banned!
