What a fantastic experience. So wonderful to see something Bible based for a change. The husband and wife couple who set it all up and run it really went to a lot of effort and it shows.

What a great experience! A very friendly owner greeted us and offered any assistance while we were there. Our family had a thorough look at the incredible displays. There were clear details of each exhibit. A great hands-on area - for all ages, including dress-ups :) Allow 1-2 hours. Clean, warm, friendly environment. A couple of comfy chairs if you want a rest before continuing. I definitely recommend a visit here!

Such a great place to visit. Amazing facts, models, instruments, wall charts and statues of the biblical times. The owners were very welcoming and were willing to assist at anytime e.g if you wanted to try a instrument. They allow you to take photos. Great experience. Do visit if your in Rotorua.

Great amount of detail and exhibits for a free museum. Will give you a good concept of Bible times and the culture and environment of those times. Lots of models, 3d maps and figurines. Exceptionally clean and tidy.
You can even dress up and there's games for the kids too - something for everyone.

Never knew something like this existed in Rotorua. What a gem of a place!!!
Special mention to those wanting to visit Holy Land, an hour or two at the Bible world museum will give you wonderful insights as to what to except. It's like a crash course to Holy Land. I was blown away by many different things but the tomb where Jesus was laid before Resurrection remains my personal favorite.
Surely visiting this place again. Sarah was wonderful she patiently answered all our queries and shared lots of good information. Thank you, God bless you:)

Amazing that this place is so cool and doesn’t cost anything (donation only) yet it’s so interesting to see the history of ancient times. Also cool models costumes and learning spaces for adults and kids!!

excellent displays and replicas. very educational as well as enjoyable. I did not realize how fun it can be to try to put on the roman soldier's armors. I strongly recommend everyone (Christians and non Christians ) to visit this place!

My family and I love this place!! We have been there 3 times so far and are planning on going again. We love how interactive it is. There has been so much time and effort put in to it. It is truly fascinating. My son says "it is the best museum I have ever been to. I LOVE IT! I like learning about God." My daughter says "I like how they have made things from the old days. I like the way I can touch, smell and see things there." My little daughter likes trying on the old helmets and pushing the wrong buttons on the board because it makes a great sound!! as does the little shofar! I cannot recommend Bible World too highly! Please take the time to go and see this amazing place and support them. You will not be disappointed.

Most interesting indeed for anyone. I’ve been a few times. You wouldn’t need to be a Bible student to appreciate this place. Child friendly, interactive. All for free though donations accepted :)

I love Bibleworld Museum, if you have never been to the Holy Land, you will get a great taste, for others like myself who have, it's a beautiful reminder. Colourful, informative, and interactive things for the kids to do, and one of my favourite things, the shop! Lovely soaps, anointing oil etc. Definitely worth a visit or two, or three....

It's not an enormous facility, but the owner/curators have done a good job with the space and materials they have both gathered and created for themselves. The scale models, especially Jerusalem at the time of Jesus, are all great to look at. Clearly they don't have a Te Papa budget, but there is still some interactivity for kids and enough information on the walls without being overwhelming. And with entry by donation (contrasting with the over-pricing of most other attractions in Rotorua) this is a cheaper way to spend an hour or so in central Rotorua.

We had a fabulous visit to Bibleworld today. Very impressed! Your displays made the bible come alive! The children loved it - lots of great interactive things to do- especially popular was the armour :-) The boys talked me into buying some little figurines - we didn’t realise they all need to be hand painted - now I’m even more impressed with the quality of your diorama- and the hours and skills you put into them. May God bless you and may your work continue to glorify Him! - The Siraa Family.

There is a lot packed into this little museum and the people who run it are very helpful and friendly too. I love how interactive a lot of it is too. Plus it's free! I definitely recommend it!

I love studying the historical and archeological background of the Bible, so I love being able to see (and sometimes touch) things that I have been reading about. Thank you for making this available.

(Translated) The best Bible museum found in Rotoru. The best resources to operate these facilities for free while owning these facilities ... I highly recommend this place to be visited by all Christians as well as children.
