Reviews of Gumboot Statue
B.Nice little stop to stretch your legs and get some pics of the kids. Also take a walk to the lookout, but don't believe the "10minutes" advertised, unless you're really fit and correctly dressed. Still a beautiful view from the top.
C.Been here a few times but first time I've actually stopped. There is a nice 10 min bush walk just off to the side of the gumboot. Nice little trek
P.Small parking space for a quick stop, more parking just a bit down. Nice walk to a view point, picnic tables. Great rest stop for traveling.
H.It's a hugely iconic NZ monument and you can't help but think it looks cool. Great fun for kids to climb on too.

F.Wenn man dran vorbei fährt, lohnt sich ein kurzer Stop weil die Statue direkt an der Straße liegt. Ich persönlich fand diese jedoch nicht besonders. Also nicht extra deswegen hinfahren.
