C.We spent 4 hours there with our girl and her friend. Got to do the mini-golf, maze discovery and lego in that time. Was super clean and everything was working/well maintained. The two staff members were really lovely and accommodating. Was definitely worth the price given how telling we were there and how much we got to do.

The discovery center is amazing.
B.Not bad, it’s maybe a tad pricey. The VIP pass is $35 which includes Mini Golf, Maze, Discovery Center and the LEGO Exhibit. The VIP pass does not include the Flight Simulator or Shooting Simulator. The maze and discovery centre are cool, kids had a blast. The mini golf is good but a tad tired... all in all we spent about 3.5 hours there. One thing to note is the Remote Control Boats are not there anymore
F.Had loads of fun here. Glad we stopped and had some fun. Only thing is they didnt sell any hats and its really what you need if its super sunny. If we are in the area again we will stop in.
T.We really enjoyed the mini golf, it is only 9 holes but turns out that's more than enough. Some tricky twists and turns, loads of fun.
H.We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mind Junction. Reviews I'd read ranged from 1 star to 4 or 5, so I'm pleased to rate it at the higher end.
Ok, the pricing is on the higher side (especially for families/groups). But for something a bit different and at least a few hours of edutainment (especially if you have time to learn/experience a lot of the science experiments), it's comparitive to everyday outings like a zoo visit.
Yes, some of the exhibits are a little worn down (just one item not working when we visited), but younger kids simply won't notice. And it doesn't detract from the overall experience of learning more about science in a fun way. Simply don't expect Te Papa-like interactivity. MJ simply don't get massive public funding. So be fair!
Loved the maze. Certainty more challenging than I'd planned. Luckily it was a sunny day for us. Unsure how it would feel in winter/rain or both. Likely 45-60 mins of fun. Mileage will vary depending on the age range of your party, I suspect.
Mini golf wasn't as scenic as other courses one played, but still a great challenge for all. One hole in one didn't save my otherwise terrible score card!
Lego space doesn't have any giant pieces you might expect from big exhibitions, but the cityscape is a well designed. Nice to see some of the themed Lego models in the exhibition cases lining the walls too. Expect to spend lots of time of you plan to search for the hidden figurines!
C.We were beaten by the maze, but spent a decent amount of time trying! The Lego display is an absolute must see, and the figurine search will keep you busy in there for ages... Really impressive. Highly recommend for kids and adults alike!

A.The kids loved it BUT I feel like it wasn't worth the money. We did 2 activities the maze which was $10 per person and the discovery centre which was $15 per person and our family of 5 all together cost $125 for an hour exploring. We spent around 20mins in the maze before the kids got a tad upset because they couldn't find most of the questions or all the symbols, not to mention the questions were not for little kids, more for grown ups. Discovery Centre was fun to get too but for the price I feel like it wasn't worth it.
B.Had a blast in the maze with my little man then hunted down all the lego figures. A definite must do for the kids and kids at heart.

a.The Lego version of "Where's Wally" was great, we stayed until we found them all and we really got value for money.
K.My kids age 7 and 10 loved this place. The discovery centre was awesome and kept us fascinated for ages. My 7 year old did the dark tunnel about 10 times and we got lost on the maze looking for q's and a's for at least 45 mins! There is something for everyone here.
O.We were a family of 4 Adults and 2 children. We spent about 2 hours here and thoroughly enjoyed it. the different parts to it was very entertaining. Very good for all age groups.

G.The kids love a stop mindjunction. Puzzle gift shop, maze, Radio controlled boats, flight simulator, huge Lego display with a spot the wanted Lego Minifigures. Small model train, shooting sim and a cafe for the parents. Ample parking with outside tables. New attraction coming soon, so will be visiting again next holidays.

C.The maze was fun for the kids. The discovery centre was great. The Lego display was cool but I thought there might have been some Lego for the kids to play with. The prices were fair for adults but there should have been separate prices for kids. You shouldn't have to pay adult prices for a five year old.
T.My whaanau and I called in on our way home to Turangi. We only got to do 3 of the 4 activities in the VIP package because of time and weather, but we loved everything we did. The sensory tunnel, and the perception activity room. The Lego room, the mini golf and finally the maze. It was hilarious funny, and to top it off, our friendly host gave us a raincheck on the final activity we didn't get to complete. Enjoyed our time there, so glad we called in.

J.Great place for all ages, expensive but we enjoyed it we paid for vip pass and with that you get to do the Maze discovery area golf and lego room. To do simulation area that cost more. I reccomend but it's a once off for us.
F.We only did the Lego display and Discovery Centre today. Ran out of time - will be back to do the rest in a few days. Lego display is very impressive. A good idea giving the kids some hidden characters to look for. Never did find the robot! The Discovery Centre is so much fun, and well worth the money. Other reviews say M-J is expensive. We thought it was very reasonably priced, compared to a lot of other activities around the Taupo/Rotorua area (where we had been travelling). The staff are awesome too!

L.Everyone (adults and kids) enjoyed this. Highlight outside was the maze which got us working as a team, and inside the Discovery centre - so much packed into the space. On entering felt a little expensive (and either adults or kids should be cheaper not same price?) But after spending the afternoon found it worth the money for the entertainment we had.
A.This place was okay. The Lego display was very cool and the children enjoyed having to spot the hidden Lego figures in the display. However, the mini golf was in need of repair. We did not do maze because it didn't look appealing to us so not sure how good that was.

A.Great day for the kids. Bought the VIP pass for $35 which meant you could do the maze, mini putt, lego & discovery centre. Was a showery day but you can take your time, hang inside while it rains (doing puzzles) and do the activities as many times as you want. The lego display was a stand out, impressive!
R.Great fun activities for a wide variety of kid ages. We just did the maze, which had animal pictures to find for younger kids and questions to find for older. There's also a blackboard to write/draw on and puzzles to do in the cafe. Highly recommended.

Friendly family-run business with a range of activities available including a giant maze, some simulators, mini golf, a small science centre, and a huge Lego display. You can buy tickets for each activity individually or combine them. You could potentially spend most of a day if you bought a pass for everything. We didn't have heaps of time so we bought tickets to the Lego display and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The display is large and extremely detailed, with a great Minifigures 'hunt' activity on included which kept us busy for at least half an hour. Well worth checking out!

T.On a wet day with young kids, this was great place to go, so much to see and interact with. Can't wait to go back on a dry day and do some of the outside activities.
And the shop has so many amazing gifts for kids you and old that will challenge the mind and learn from.

The Discovery Centre entry starts with a walk through a completely dark area which my youngest was not keen on! Can bypass it if you ask.

J.There are a lot of things this place offers, but we barely got past the cafe with tabletop games. We played with the games that were set out on each table for probably an hour or more, before we finally moved on to some mini golf. We were grateful for the variety of food the cafe offered, as we were passing by right at lunch and were starving. The food was mostly simple pre-prepared or pre-packaged, but quite tasty. It was a perfect place to grab a bite and hang out and have fun with the kids for a couple of hours.
D.This was so much fun for my entire family. We did the Maze, Mini Golf and the indoor activities. Highly recommend anybody to stop here, the staff are so nice, friendly and helpful.
I recommend you save half a day to do this 😊.

T.Great place to take kids - they can keep entertained for hours. New activities constantly on the way. Adults can join the kids in the activities or just wait for them in the coffee shop doing table puzzles. Owners are very friendly and happy to help you with puzzles that might be tricky.

T.What a great place! Lots of things for the kids to do (We had 2 x 4 year olds and 2 x 2 year olds.) Some of the activities are aimed at much older children and I bet they'd enjoy them even more than ours did.

J.It does have activities for young children, but prices are for each individual activity and quite expensive ($4 for 5 minutes driving a RC boat, $2 for 2 minutes to turn a switch on and off for a small train) very secretive about what some of the other activities are so we didn't pay the $15/adult to go into the mystery room.
