M. D.My family and I visited this museum yesterday and it was a great experience for all of us including my 2 boys aged 6 & 3. The ladies that greeted us, gave warm welcomes, and also presented activities for my boys to find things around the museum. They thoroughly enjoyed their time there completing the activities. My youngest was tired and hōhā by the end of our tour, but the ladies were very patient and understanding with us. Will definately be visiting again next time. Locals were free and the family pass was $25. Reasonably priced.

C. O.Really is the best small museum in NZ. Very interesting, well presented and a lot to look at. We spent quite a bit of time here learning a part of history we didn't know. The volunteers were also very friendly and helpful in pointing out things of local interest. Recommend you make the stop if you're passing by.

The volunteers are mainly descendants of the migration and their knowledge of the history is great. Well presented and interesting array of exhibits makes this the best small museum I have had the pleasure of visiting.
