Nice to see a little bit of local history

Well placed for a beach front holiday with popular walkway nearby, which was nice. We had a comfortable two roomed unit which allowed family to visit us. Would stay there again.

Stunning little museum put together by the community for the community and wide. Can feel the Wairoa connection all the way through.

Excellent opportunity to do some
research on History of Tribe and Township Development. Our Museum has a Computer Touch
Table linked to nearly every aspect of History, plus all Items
contained in the Museum and
their background etc! A truly
unique educational, easy and fun way of learning! The more you
explore the more information it
will present to you! Well worth
visiting! Staff service is the best you will ever get anywhere!

Small museum which has made full use of the space and lots of very interesting exhibits with good signage. Many on our bus would have liked more time there. Well done!

This place is an epic experience. If you are a kiwi history buff, this is a must see. So glad we called in here on our north island road trip enroute to Gisborne.
