Reviews of Higgins Heritage Park
B. D.Really interesting place, we went during the week so missed out on seeing all the sheds open but there is still plenty to look at, old vehicles, trains and farming equipment. The Steam days look like loads of fun! If you are an NZMCA member you can camp onsite for $5 a night which is great, nice peaceful place to stay and freshwater available for a donation. Pretty great little place!
D. T.Great collection of Jowlet Javelin classic cars. Plus a jigger logging train track to ride on. Best to check website tho for opening times first before going.

M. B.I really enjoyed my short visit, lovely rural setting. I was informed that this museum has the best collection of Jowett vehicles anywhere.(Pictures posted) Be it unusual cars or pioneer farm and forest machinery is is really special to see these things all so well preserved.
