Very good operation with friendly staff. Family adventure with 14 and 13 year old children made to feel relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed their first skydive. Awesome experience from 15,000ft. Great experience great memory and great view. Dont miss a opportunity to view the world from a different perspective, why buy a drone when you can fly yourself to a majestic view above the sky. Got 9k, 12k and 15k feet but preferable to choose 15k feet because you could feel the freefall longer time than below feet. You can choose photo package before you check in to skydive. Great and helping staff as well as good instructor 👍🏻

Lovely place. The staff are friendly and helpful. They are obviously obsessed with making sure you feel as safe and secure as possible There are computers there so after skydiving you can view the pictures and videos to check you like it all. There are toilets as well and plenty of room for parking. It's easy to find with lots of sign posts to guide you

Wow! What a fantastic memory! I first came on December 6th, the day of my birthday, the site was full and crowded. The reception staff was overwhelmed. In addition, the weather did not allow to take the camera flyer package, which I absolutely wanted for my birthday, I was disappointed. After three hours of waiting, I decided to come back the next morning. When I came back the next day, there were very few people and the atmosphere was much more relaxed! I was able to take a camera flyer package and I did not wait very long time before receiving my outfit. My instructor was really great, and my cameran was very friendly. I jumped in second at 12,000 feet and it was absolutely fantastic! My best memory since I am in New Zealand! Better than all the extreme sports I could test in my life! I loved the free fall by jumping off the plane! That convinced me to pass the PAC once back in France to be able to jump in autonomy! So a big thank you !

Current deal we got was $299 for 15,000ft. First time diving for all 4 of our group and we loved it!! My instructor was Flo and he was perfect. Caring staff who help calm doubts and answer questions to temper worries. Easy to find and book. Be careful and check weather before you book because we were rescheduled 4 times! The staff was great and reschedules were due to weather, not the business or staff. Very competent and knowledgeable all the around.

Amazing experience! Absolute professionals. They won’t let you fly if conditions are poor. We were the last trip of the day at 9:00am due to high winds. Took the bus from Queenstown, about 1 hr 15 minute drive, Quick and safe. The views skydiving were incredible! Great 30th birthday!

I jump at here for 12,000 ft on Feb. 21, 2019 and the weather was good. Your flyer will handle everything. Just relax and enjoy it. Do anything after the flyer patting you when you jump out the flight. Most of the times would be slowly falling with a parachute when you and your flyer leave the flight, so not really such scary. You can see a perfect view of both of the lake Wanaka and Hawea when you're falling. Highly recommended!

Great experience!!! Instructor Was very friendly and warmed up the atmosphere to make you less anxious before the jump. They were very professional and our booking was rescheduled to the morning time due to weather forecast, instead of simply being cancelled. I am glad that we could make it. Bird view of Wanaka is fantastic. It took quite some time to get the video and photos and somehow it was mixed up with others’, but overall experience was excellent!

I just didn't like the googles they gave us... quite cheap and almost flying away... (I mean, for that price!!) fotos and videos also a bit too much high rated price. But the experience and the guys were amazing!!:)

Unbelievable! Second skydiving experience but this is the place to do it! You get mountains, lakes, snow(possibly), countryside, it has it all! The staff were amazing, right through to the end. Excellent experience, I was nervous and unsure what to expect. I did the dive with Rob and he was an absolute gentleman. Not only he is a master diver, but has excellent personality, friendly and calmed me down and kept me informed the entire time. You would enjoy sky diving with these guys regardless of who you go with, but if you would like an excellent experience, Rob is the man for the job. Company was well organised, everything was done in a professional manner.

My partner and I had a 12,000ft Skydive Experience with Skydive Wanaka and it was the most incredible experience of my life! My partner was super nervous (loosing sleep and panicking the whole week prior, I myself was so excited and pumped for it) the staff were so kind and supportive, the kindest people you will meet! Me and my partner booked In for the 15000ft sky dive and the day really consisted of two opposites 1) the skydive was incredible, the who jump team, camera guys and tandem jumpers gave us the best experience possible. The views were phenomenal and the freefall was insane What really put a downer on it though was the reception staff. No organisation of anyone there meant there was a lot of people waiting around with no idea when their jump time was , don't check everyone in at 11 if you don't expect them to jump in the next hour! But the main thing that really annoyed me was the fact they showed two different prices for the camera package with a huge price gap! I really do not like being ripped off, knowing there is a cheaper once for the same thing and obviously they was charging the most expensive price! I confronted reception and they didn't seem to think this was an issue advertising two totally different prices for the same thing! Ludicrous and an utter shame to such a day (plus they really struggled spelling my name but I guess I shall gloss over that...

Great first skydive experience! The service given was professional and I can observed that they made many safety checks on both the participants and tandem master. My tandem was Flo and he was super! He took great photos and videos and he even allowed me to fly with the parachute!! I skydived with my brother and his tandem master was not as good as mine, in terms of photos and videos taken (poor angle). I was very fortunate to get a great experienced tandem master and the whole experience was super! In case anyone interested to know. The whole experience took about 2 hours.

My “beautiful stranger” tandem guide was Flo and I am so grateful to him for ensuring a fun and safe experience. The staff were super friendly when we checked in and everything was easy and smooth without annoying wait periods. The jumpsuits were awesome as they were red/orange and looked super cool! :) I mean you can't really beat this location - mountains, stunning lakes and on a clear day like ours even Mt Cook in the background, absolutely mindblowing and I'd highly recommend it to anybody considering a skydive in NZ :-)

Only annoying thing was you weren’t allowed to take your own GoPro (I can understand the danger) but they charged $199 for your tandem diver to take his own GoPro. Given that the dive itself was $359, this seemed pretty expensive! Still, the views were insane!!!

It was my first time and of course, it WAS MIND BLOWING. My tandem master was a female, when i was nervous she told me to relax and just enjoy. But, when you're in the plane and see the beauty of Wanaka you'll be amazed and relax naturally. The jump off the plane must be the highlight.

So I did wanna share my experience with Skydive Wanaka. First I would like to say thank you for such an awesome experience. It was my very first time skydiving and It was one of those things that has always been on my bucket list along with visiting New Zealand itself. So I decided to do both. I am so glad I did and I could not ask for anything better. The whole thing overall was wonderful and even though the weather almost prevented us from going to full 15,000 feet we still found a break in the clouds to do the jump. The only issue I am having though is that the video I received cant be viewed on my computer and that makes me sad. The photos work but the video just wont load. Im not sure if its because they have apple and they just exported it in a file for only those computers or if it was just a mistake they made. I checked the video when I received it (on their computer) and it was awesome to watch after I had just finished the jump. But now I cant watch it at all (on my own computer) and I am very dissapointed about that. Otherwise everything was perfect. Great service, great jump, great day. Thank you for a wonderful dive. I hope I can do it again soon.

I came here with my wife for her Birthday Surprise. We both jumped from 15000 feet with a cameraman to capture our dives more personally. Everyone from the receptionist to the crew were most courteous and helped us with the Skydive. We even got some goodies from the team to commemorate my wife's birthday as well. The Skydive was simply fabulous! The breathtaking views of the snow capped Southern Alps, picturesque lakes and green farms just made this the best place to skydive from. Our photos were just about fine. I guess it's not very easy to capture that when you're free falling at 200kmph, but an exhilarating experience nonetheless. If you also want the unedited video footage of the Skydive, carry your own pendrives, else you'll have to buy an additional one at the Skydive centre. Although they're slightly more expensive than other Skydive operators around the world, the very scenic experience makes me highly recommend this to everyone.

Did our first, and probably not last skydive here. I was suspicious at first naturally, also debating if I wanted video or pictures at all (having done a decent amount of leisurely video and photo editing myself), I wanted good footage. Even from when I got there my doubts subsided somewhat, they have gotten the whole process down to a fine art. You can be you. If you aren't chatty that's cool, but I was chatting pleasantly with everyone. Some of it a bit tortured because of the crews daily routine, but everything was easy. We paid for the dive through bookme and the photo and video flyer each on site, I simply asked for Raw footage when paying which was no problem at all. I will however say that it has been a bit spoiled by the East Asian tourist trend. I'm assuming that is why the pre-dive communication is somewhat through gritted teeth, but I will give Skydive Wanaka all due credit and made the best of the situation in making every detail abundantly clear to everyone. I would also think it better if the media flyer had a 'chat to me'/'dont chat to me' option because although Alex was a really cool guy, we both just wanted to get in the air ;) Improvement aside the whole process was fantastic the whole time I was getting ready and ascending Kassy was very helpful and assuring answering any questions whilst telling me what was being changed on the harness and what needs to go where. If in doubt, ask questions. Everybody is happy to answer and knows their stuff! Come and have a great time! I can't say what it was like to do because it's a one of a kind experience and totally worth it :) keep doing great work guys!

Now this is one thing everyone should try atleast once! You will never have been more aware of your life! It is one of my most favorite experiences. Ever wondered what it feels like to fly like a bird? Wonder no more, my friends....this will show you that feeling! The view is amazing as you swoop down towards the ground, not at all scary. The instructors are very helpful and friendly, and it is a feeling you will never forget! But if you don't get it right the first time, suffice it to say that skydiving is not for you...

As soon as you walk into the Skydive Wanaka drop zone you know you are in for an experience of a lifetime. This is one business that goes the extra mile for their customers. The counter looks like an aeroplane, their briefing room looks like you are inside an aeroplane – And all this even before you meet your tandem master fly to 15,000 feet with views of Mt Cook and jump out of their brand spanking new bright orange plane. I would recommend everyone to jump with these guys. It is what traveling around New Zealand is all about!!
