Reviews of Scotts Landing

Such a great location for a day out, you can have a swim in calm clear waters or fish near the wharf. Would be nice if the bin was cleared though, the smell was not pleasant. Public toilet facilities are clean though.

Nice beach, though check the tide. Great lesson in geology, parking can be difficult.

Beautiful and scenic view. Peaceful and calm place.

Fabulous little spot. Council keep this area well maintained with daily rubbish collections, toilets cleaned and a wonderful boardwalk to the little beach in front of the historic house. Great little beach to swim at and the landing is a great spot to fish. Great place for large family get togethers for picnics or bbqs. Also very safe for little ones in the water.

Awesome spot , not just for those with boats, Orca in the bay when we there

Good place for a picnic but come early as you'll run out of parking space. You can walk to Casnell Island which is just opposite. Come during low tide and you can walk to it and keep your feet dry. Crossing is still possible up to 3 hours after low tide but this will be covered within 15 minutes.
The circumference of the island is 1km and will take 18 minutes of walk at 3kph. You can also climb up this island but there's nothing exciting the. It's got a partial good view of the beach.
The last 500m of the road is unsealed

Not enough car parks for how popular this little place is. The boat ramp is tidal so make sure you check your launching and pick up times! And it has just a little curve in it to make reversing a trailer interesting. Sharp oyster shells around part of the beach but soft sand further on.

Beautiful place to relax and unwind.

Amazing area that you must see. Really good beach for kids as the waves are small. Great if you want to kayak or a sup to explore the water. Parking can be a challenge, however a small walk is still worth it. Lovely restored cottage just the corner, which is worth a quick look

Lovely summer spot but short on parking 1/2 k gravel road at end. Nice spot if coming by boat but need to anchor beyond shelf.
