J.The knot on my pounamu string needed replacing and the owners here were so gracious and quick in fixing it. The work was done well, on the spot, and for almost no cost. I'm certain they're not primarily in the business of repairing necklaces but I'm really grateful to them for doing so for me. Strongly advise stopping into their store and seeing their beautiful works, whether it's jewelry or art.

D.I have been into this shop and seen some amazing work of our cultural arts and the prices are very reasonable I would recommend if you are walking down the Wellington waterfront stop in and check out the beautiful toanga I was happy to purchase an item from there and will be returning at a later date to purchase other items
A.Māori Arts Gallery is a fantastic place that I have shopped at several times to get koha for whānau members and have always had a lovely experience, no matter who is serving. They work to make every visitor feel welcome, their prices are always reasonable - even after a worldwide pandemic that has affected all of us - and they don't deserve hoha reviews from individuals who clearly do not understand Māori or overall NZ culture and who take kindness to others as a personal insult to themselves. Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou Amanda and others for your beautiful gallery and shop.
I.We went there after we saw all those good reviews. This shop was probably the best I visited in New Zealand for souvenir/gifts shopping. We bought some really beautiful things for ourselves and relatives for really good prices. Everything looked authentic and shop assistants really helpful.
