R. A.This is a museum dedicated to the life and achievements of Sir Edmund Hillary.
This is situated inside the Hermitage hotel, however is open for all visitors.
Lots of information and personal artifacts from Sir's life are well kept and preserved here.
A large life sized status of Sir looking at Mount Cook is an interesting and nicely curated artifact.
It is another hidden gem in the area and seeming not very popular with the tourists.
However it is a nice and highly recommended place.
The location is really scenic and one can find variety of landscapes depending on the season of visit.
W.An interesting look into the life and climbing career of one of our most famous New Zealanders. Worth a visit.
