H.The guys at the store were nice enough. Dude that served me seemed a little up tight and snappy if I'm being completely honest. But I tried putting myself in his shoes. He did his job and we got what we were after.

T.A very special thank you to Rock Shop Henderson for finding a jumbo guitar case to give my dad, Bill Sevesi's guitar a new safe home for storage. The old Maton guitars are so different from what they used to make and dad's guitar is now around 60 years old. It carries such nostalgic and historical value, around the history of our dance hall days; recordings dad did over the decades of his hawaiian, island, foxtrot, tango... you name it. The Orange Ballroom was his famous spot for over 18 years.

L.It's always a pleasure coming here. Musicians nirvana. The range of products is mouth watering and there's always something new. I love the ambiance in the store and you don't feel awkward entering an empty store.
The staff are great. Very friendly and knowledgeable and never pressure you to make a sale. I had my bass setup by them and was very happy with the result.
Parking is sometimes a worry but never been a big issue. If your willing to walk a few metres you're sorted.

T.Had a fantastic over the phone experience with Taine and the other lads at the store. After a bit of a hassle with the NorthWest store, Henderson was able to suss it no issues - they go out of their way for their customers experience, bang on!

The staff are very eager and helpful. You can test play nearly anything I'm the store. High quality instruments are available as well as beginners equipment. Parking is limited outside the store but only a 2 minutes walk from the free West city shopping mall

B.The store was unable to locate the earbuds that their stock list said they had multiple in stock.
They were unwilling/unable to discount the $10 more expensive pair that they could find to match the price of the set they they couldn't locate.
I ended up going to another store 4km away that had the original set in stock for the same price on a matter of principle.
Henderson Rockshop will be my backup choice in future. Their staff are polite and helpful, but were too disorganised to rely on.

B.Hands down best rockshop in Auckland! Me and my mate went around trying guitars at all the stores in Auckland, Henderson easily had the best playing guitars, I've come in several times and seen the guys working there setting up, restringing, polishing the guitars. Also has the best jam room, looks cool and sounds great surrounded by all the guitar amps and all high end Gibsons, PRS, Fenders.
Everytime I need something ordered in, they've been able to get it into Henderson for me to try out including recently 3 fairly high end guitar amps from all over NZ which I was able to A-B-C before picking one to buy. Always been super helpful, been going there for on 10 years now. Can't recommend more!
P.Awesome shop. All the guitars you can imagine. Really cool staff, especially the Metallica-loving manager Chris. All the drums you found want and keyboards too. Digital DJ MIDI controllers are present too as well as PA speakers and mixers. Couldn't recommend enough.
