C.I went in last weekend with my 8 year old daughter to pick out a new ukulele. The staff were very helpful and attentive, treating us as well as they would a seasoned musician getting a new set. Very positive experience and reinforced her love for music and the music scene. Thanks!!
T.I went into the store thinking I had a broken guitar cable, they tested it and told me it worked perfectly. So the next day I brought in my guitar and amp to find out which one of those where broken instead. They identified it was the guitar connector and there and then they fixed it within 5 minutes, at no charge! Great service, helpful staff, would highly recommend and would visit again! Now I can get back to shredding some guitar :)
H.Went to look at tenor recorders and if they would work for me. The man who assisted me was very helpful. There was an interested attitude that made me feel comfortable and I was so happy that I bought one. Thanks for taking the time with me and not putting pressure on me but encouraging me instead. I.Besides being super hungover and the guy behind the counter drumming on it giving me a headache 😂 the customer service was great and they had exactly what I was looking for. Purchased a few guitars etc from here a few times, I'll definitely be back again. I highly recommended this store and the botany town centre store
R.Stunningly good customer service! Good selection of books, and midi gear! Met a guy absolutely rocking it on his first day who helped me select some song books! The other staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I even got to chat with the manager and he gave me 2 free pens! If I lived in Auckland, I'd definitely be a frequent customer! You guys are great!
J.Great shop to walk around. They have a great selection of Electric and Acoustic Guitars, lots of pedals as well as drum kits, pianos and just about anything to do with music. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

A.There's no disputing that the Rock Shop do music retail business well.
Great selection, well laid out shop and knowledgeable staff - most seem to be muso's, which makes them helpful.
Their prices are usually competitive and you can always check stuff on line before rocking up to the shop.

S.A great team at this store, which always has a laid back and friendly vibe. I always get good advice here, been a customer for about 4 years. Bought a Roland piano for my daughter and got very good service. They also have an excellent range of acoustic guitars, including Taylors, Martins and more.

A.Manager has been awesome to deal with on the couple times I have been there and would normally give me a slightly better deal when I ask for it. One of the staff members that helped me was quite average though.
H.Thanks for the great service renee. Renee gave me the guitar to try out and let me do my own thing testing it out which was good rather than having someone listening to my terrible playing haha. Really happy with the guitar. Also there was a mix up with the cases which I wasnt aware of anyway and mistakes sometimes happen but Renee followed up with it and let me know so that I could go and swap it for the correct one.
