Fantastic is The Great Hall at The Arts Centre. It is looking very good and it can be hired for functions. With the ability to go outside to the courtyard it makes the place a wonder venue. As its in the central business district consider car parking before you go. They car parks can fill up quickly. Nonetheless certainly worthy of consideration.

Such a lovely space- for events, concerts and just a beautiful place to reflect and admire the architecture. A visit is a must-do when at Te Matatiki Toi Ora.

Beautiful facility for Christchurch, adds a sense of an Era gone by it compliments the museum and arts center wonderfully. Spectacular place for a show, the secret garden was a beautiful show

Beautiful place often used for winter craft market or small performance during Matariki. Medium sized hall located at the front of the art centre near the botanical and museum entrance side. There're two entrances one through the front door and one from back door. Beautiful glass art as the back of the hall.

Just got hitched. Had the best time of my life. Fit out theme perfectly and the staff were all extremely helpful. They work extremely well with all of the other caterers as well.

The Great Hall is a unique combination of Church-like stained glass and university lecture theatre. Located in the Arts Centre in Worcester Street, Christchurch, which was the old university. Apparently, 260 million dollars of restoration work was required to repair and shore up this area after the destructive 2011 earthquake that was centered towards the Port town of Lyttleton. There is a good restaurant nearby, an art gallery, and many other places and concerts in the overall tourist attractions here, close to the botanical gardens. GD.

Beautiful restoration on a special building. Attended a wedding breakfast there, it had a brilliant atmosphere with the courtyard outside for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles.

The great Hall is a wonderfully restored venue. Nice to have the University where world leaders in atomic physics worked restored to the level before the earthquake
