Great advice, great service, outstanding attention to detail. Kenny has maintained and modified many guitars for me - Gibson's, Epiphones, Tele's, Strat's, Ibanez, and 2 PRS'. If you want your guitars to sound as good as they can, you should give them to Kenny.

Fantastic. I got exactly what I was looking for on Kenny's website, which is both comprehensive and informative, I only wish I'd discovered it sooner! Exploring the website further, it's clear to see that Kenny cares deeply for his art. Communication post sale was great, and postage was fast. I've got a couple more projects lined up so I'll be going to Kenny's website first for parts. Recommended!

I have owned my 1975 Fender P Bass from new. It’s had nothing done to it since then, and it needed some real TLC. I left it with Kenny, and he did a brilliant job. He fixed a tricky issue with the neck alignment, sorted out the frets, and gave the electronics the once over. Then we added a new set of strings and she plays like a new one. I highly recommend Kenny. He is a true craftsman and a great guy to chew the fat with.

Kenny has worked on two of my guitars and he has always had my interests at heart. He has an honest and caring approach, and, of course has expert knowledge and workmanship. He genuinely cares about what you want and giving best value. Excellent service and repair.

I've had Kenny do work on all of my guitars and every time I get them back they play amazingly. He is incredibly responsive and helpful in communications, follows up afterwards to check everything's just right, and the quality of his work is top notch.

My 41 year old Ibanez was long overdue for some TLC. After Kenny conducted his detailed assessment there were a few things to do including a re-fret. Not what anyone wants to hear, but Kenny gave me a great deal for the amount of work required. And man was it worth it! I just thought it was my sloppy technique that was the issue and didn't realise how bad the frets/set up was. Kenny's workmanship is top notch. Playing beautifully installed frets on a familiar 'lived in' neck has transformed this axe dramatically. This is the third guitar that Kenny has sorted for me and I have no reason to go anywhere else. Do yourself a favour and send your guitars here. Also as I live in the lower NI, Kenny's shipping service works a treat. Thanks Kenny!

Kenny has now worked on two of my bass guitars and I'm completely satisfied with the results - here is my last email to Kenny; Mate, she arrived safe and sound yesterday morning and woo yeah, that's what I'm talking about!! You've done a beautiful job on the neck, it feels incredible and is a massive improvement. The setup is much more even across the strings too, the tone is more consistent from string to string and I find myself using less effort to play my favourite lines, plus it sounds better, so I'm doubly happy! All up, your superb work will mean I'm going to play and enjoy this bass more than I did which will make my goal of playing out again even more achievable - thanks mate, I really appreciate it.

Kenny recently put together a custom Strat from parts that he supplied plus some that I had already. The result was fabulous and the guitar was able to be gigged immediately straight out of the case with no adjustments required . In fact it plays beautifully and sounds great. Good communication from Kenny ensured that what I had wanted was delivered. Shipping was reasonably prompt and the package was in perfect condition upon arrival, however they did not communicate the arrival of the package at their depot as instructed, a minor problem that was quickly sorted.

Kenny upgraded the bridge in my strat, dressed the frets and setup. He took the time to talk me through upstage suggestions which I appreciated. Amazing tonal difference and playability beyond my guitar level! Freight service was good and opening the case to see the way my strat was lovingly packaged was a real treat, made it just that much more special. Great stuff Kenny!

Kenny built me a guitar 5 years ago and then recently set it up again and re-did the frets. I won’t go anywhere else now. He is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly to deal with, he allowed me to pay him in instalments over a few weeks too. There are guitar set ups and then there are set ups by Kenny Duncan, worlds apart this guy know guitars. Can’t recommend enough. Thanks again Kenny.

Kenny sorted out my bad attitude (deluxe). I decided to have a play with the action on my beloved Yamaha attitude bass in the pursuit of finding the perfect action and ended up making it a whole lot worse, so bad I didn't even want to play it anymore. I got it back from Kenny and I simply can't believe how good it feels, it is set up EXACTLY how I wanted it in my head and to finally get it to play like that is awesome. I've been playing a long time and have done all the maintenance and string changes myself but no matter how good you think you are or how much you think you know, you are not going to be as good as Kenny. Get him to do your guitar and you'll be blown away with the instrument you get back, Kenny is the best in the business, end of story.

Kenny has worked on two of my basses now, and each time they have come back feeling and playing better than ever. As well as setup and service, he also refinished the neck on my Epiphone Thunderbird, making it play like a much more expensive bass. His work is money well spent!

Kenny has done a fair chunk of work for me over the past 5 years and some. Everything from basic setups on guitars I already love to complete rebuilds. I have had numerous refrets, electronic overhauls and even built a couple of parts casters with him. Perfection is the norm. Helpful advice and understanding what I want is all part of the service. If I can trust him with my prized 1954 Gibson you can trust him with anything.

Kenny Duncan has maintained my precious new guitars with expert care since I bought them 12 months ago. He now comes back to Wellington to maintain them regularly. He's highly recommended.

Kenny is a meticulous and gifted luthier with a vast knowledge on everything related to guitars. He solved a problem of poor playability on my Taylor solid body guitar that no-one else could figure out, and it is now a slinky delight to play. His recent set up on my Taylor 814 acoustic transformed it from a very good guitar to the guitar I have always dreamed of owning. Thanks Kenny, its a pleasure dealing with you.

Kenny has now worked his magic on 3 of my guitars, customising them to my specifications, advising thoughtfully and bringing his experience to bear. His workmanship is meticulous with great attention to detail. Highly recommended.
