I'm a big fan of schecter guitars... so music works is where I go. Not to mention the staff are great and very friendly. they will let you know that they're always there without pouncing on you and pressuring you to buy something. I'm currently saving to buy my very first BRAND NEW Schecter guitar from here.

One of several music stores in Wellington City but the folk there really know their stuff. I recently purchased an electric guitar for my son and was very quickly steered away from the run of the mill package sets into an equally cost effective but beautiful and amazing guitar that met all of my sons needs and my budget - very good experience shopping. No pressure to buy - just a really great music store that is a great asset in the city for parents wanting an intelligent discussion as to the various options for their children's needs.

Probably one of the best music stores in Wellington. The service is good and the range is acceptable. They can actually help you if you need, unlike other stores in Wellington where the staff think they are a too good bunch of Rockstars to talk to you. You can also get good prices. Wellington in general doesn't have great music stores, but this one wins overall, compared to the limited range we have. So don't expect much, but good service.

Great visit, wide ranges, definitely experts in their respective fields. Highly recommend. The service I recieved from David (Lester) was outstanding.

CLASSIC MUSIC SHOP… Were cool about me trying out a few instruments before I bought one Were open to making needed adjustments on the action of two of their display basses, didn't display the SNOOT some music shop staff can. If they carry it… they are the place to buy it. .

According to me, it's a place where you can find almost all kind of musical instruments with lots of options.The staff is excellent.They also provide one paid program called "Weekend Warriors" which is worth.They provides all the support you require while practicing there for this particular program and also guide you for your live performance.

Staff here were very helpful. I was looking for a particular snare drum and the only one left was in Auckland but they got it sent down and they are also letting me play it before I commit to buying.

helpful and good selection of gear, i bought a 30 watt amp and after having it two days decided it wasn't loud enough, took it back and swapped it for a 50 watt of the same make no problems at all.

30Sep16 On Saturday morning (today) this store was open with two nice guys working inside. Huge window displays of musical instruments visible from 100's of meters distant always catch my eye when I go past this store. So I walked in with a friend and we yakked with the two guys. Helpful and friendly, so I tried half the ukuleles on the racks. Bought a soprano uke with beautiful clear highs. Another customer strolled in while we were trying the ukes and the guys were so good that the new customer bought a uke too! The guys were negotiable on the price for my uke and threw in a HQ set of replacement strings. Nice start to the morning.
