Just got home after randomly stumbling into Dice Goblin after dinner. There was a small group there who were super friendly when we came in. There was a huge range of games to choose from and they barely charge you anything. My wife and I played a game and got an ice cream. It was such an enjoyable night. Will be back with my friends next time.

Have experienced nothing but open friendship and inclusive behavior from all staff and patrons. You are welcome to try, watch, ask questions or make your own group and play the many types and versions of the very well looked after games. They host groups for multiple tcg groups, role-playing games including a mind blowing set of ??8 maybe 9 groups playing against each other in the same world. Each group changes what the other groups experience and all while learning the basics of how to play DND (first time player here)... suitable for groups or to find friends, even host parties or events! Come check it out and see. ALSO, I must mention the way they have developed a community around them and they enable so many to realize their goals, dreams and needs. They foster discussion and creativity and always seem to be bringing in something more or something beyond complex and different with several twists and tweeks and suggestions from the many now who feel like at a second home... Masterpieces of imagination yet you find yourself being a part of it, your character some how an epic figure in the lore and history. Honestly have no idea of how they organize, inspire, discuss with players of multiple of the games on Their discord, play with the clientele and deliver a bedazzling splendor of items for sale and collect.... My salute to these brother s and their business will never reach the depth of appreciation and gratitude.. ✊

Great tucked away place where you can play board games and RPGs. You can rent games from their collection and play on the seats and tables provided. They also have a small selection of snacks and drinks and you can buy dice sets. Private rooms should you wish and it’s a surprisingly large area. Fun place.

Great place, great people, a very good environment for people who wants to play Rol or table games, if you want to start meeting people or learning a new hobby, this is the place.

Dice Goblin is great. It was initially a bit hard to find the entrance in the mall, but once I found them I was blown away. (If you're looking for them, they are on East Side of the mall, upstairs.) They have a tone of items available including rooms you can book to jam games with friends. Worth the visit.

Great place with an extremely friendly host! Thank you for showing us around, we were guttered we had to run off to catch a plane, could definitely have spent hours there! Wish I bought more dice too!

Awesome service, enthusiastic staff and a great space to meet people and play board games and card games. Mo and his brother have created an awesome and safe space for people of all ages who loves to play board games and card trading games! From dungeons and dragons, to Catan to Magic cards. Come and enjoy and even discover games you've never probably played or heard before!

Dice Goblins is an amazing place whatever it is you need gaming-wise. The people working there have both an amazing amount of knowledge about the games they have in the store, as well as great suggestions about what games you might like to play. If you're looking for gaming supplies, they've got you covered there too! I went everywhere in Auckland and couldn't find any dice other than basic, non-exciting plastic ones. Dice goblins has an awesome selection of dice with all different looks and price ranges! And if that isn't enough for you, they're also way cheaper than other gaming cafes in the city!

A jewel hidden in plain sight! A fun place packed with lots of board games, trading card type games (MTG etc) and role playing games including dungeons and dragons. The staff are always approachable and will explain how to play games, set up groups and facilitate people of all experience levels to join and play meeting people who become good friends and go on to be able to continue or network to find another group if situations change. As for these beginner DND groups, Ive found them fun, with the DM being uber patient and willing to help create a character with depth and will encourage you to try and make a backstory or be creative with a situation, being benevolent yet not afraid to kill of your entire party to help us learn basic gameplay and how to roleplay and now he tells us hes got 4 other teams all at a similar stage of experience who will now be competing for certain goals, affecting the gameplay and options of the other teams and challenging us to work as a unit, not seek to fight everyone and have heaps if fun. Thank you for all the time spent helping me understand things, getting me excited about my character and all kinds of epic possibilities to come. If you want to meet other people and learn how to play (our group has a son and dad!! awesome!) or you would like to find other more experienced players these guys will do anything they can to facilitate and help. There are 3d printing options to create miniatures and other tools and card sleaves for the card games. Come check it out and have fun. Not a single bad word to say (this review will be retracted if I die Sir Dungeon Master 😂” aftrr covid, this has been just what I needed to enjoy people again! Very affordable and great facilities,hope to meet some of u there one day soon!!
