R.Really kind couple and beautiful dog. Were helpful when we needed electric stove and let their dog come and hangout with our pup in our room and they loved hanging out outside!! Our stay was nice and I really enjoyed it with my partner and puppy. Recommend for anyone coming to Dunedin, especially if you have to pets !
D.The place was as advertised, lovely and warm and the rooms had everything you need. The owner was great as was the wee patrol dog that greets the guests and keeps the guest's company. Handy location walking distance to town or Uni. I would recommend Bella Vista Dunedin.
M.Very handy to university and hospital. More of a studio set up than a motel. A bit of road noise but warm and has comfortable beds. Really nice people
d.Exceptionally clean and tidy. Good choice of tea and coffee, including fresh coffee. The operators were very approachable, helpful and friendly. Good TV selection and a smart tv in the room. Only slight issue was the size of the room but for one night was fine and probably down to price. Would stay again.
S.I was fortunate enough to be set up here through my company upon arrival into New Zealand. What was supposed to be 3 weeks morphed into 5 as I couldn't move into my place until then. Robyn and Gary (and their adorable dog Mac) were the best, most hospitable, hard working, considerate and informative hosts/owners I could have ever hoped for. They are friendly, professional, accommodating and the premises is sparking clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend this Motel and encourage people to get to know these fabulous owners! I give stars off the charts for these two!

L.Stayed on a busy weekend but we weren't particularly impressed. Lots of noise ALL night being located in the heart of 'studentville'. Our room was provided with ear plugs....this was probably our warning of things to come!
We called and booked directly (not thru a booking website) and there didnt seem to be any noticable discount.
Bed was comfy but rolled with partner movement. Great pillows.
Clean with friendly Management.

E.Helpful and friendly staff. Basic but with all the amenities for a comfortable stay, very clean and well serviced. On-site laundry (so you can do your own laundry for a small fee) was very good.
B.Congratulations to Robyn and Gary for turning around the Bella Vista Motel at Dunedin. In the 3 months they have been there, they have turned a run down business into a sparkling star. All rooms have been refurbished and the whole motel is spotless. Robyn organised a tour for us at short notice, it was no trouble for her and our 3 day stay at the motel was very enjoyable. I highly recommend this motel, and we wish Robyn and Gary the very best in the future.
M.An excellent, tidy and well presented motel near the North entrance to Dunedin. Close proximity to various shops, restaurants and bars. The hosts were very welcoming and the free Wireless topped it all off nicely!
