V. J.Very clean and tidy. Everything was there required for stay. I shared the double unit with a workmate whilst on contract and have no complaints. Some light sleepers may experience interrupted sleep from traffic on SH1, although closing the relevant windows fixed that.

My wife and I rode our bikes down from northland and they left the heater an electric blanket on for us for when we arrived, very hospitable. 10/10 recommend to anyone on a long haul needing a stopover

Its not a modern establishment but it didnt matter as it was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this motel.

C.A nice little motel not even a minute out of Tokoroa, its a nice place that is run by an older Indian couple (I think) they are very nice, welcoming, and soft spoken the husband is always willing to help out and answer any questions that you might have. The rooms they arnt 5 star but are very much what you pay for with a kitchen equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, and mini fridge perfect for those just staying for a night or even a week. Now the only down side to this motel is that its quite close to one of the main entrances and exits to tokorua so there's never nothing going past, at night its mainly trucks that can be quite loud but ok none the less. I recommend the redwood lodge motel...
E.Stayed here twice previously with family. This time was fully booked due to shutdown at the mill. Would have stayed here again if not booked out. Very hard working, nice and friendly owner/managers here. The motel is located on the outskirts of the Tokoroa township. About 3 minutes drive to town.
