m. b.We are regulars here.. ..4th time in as many years. Spacious units with TV in every room. Big fridge, dishwasher, oven/mwave etc. Good wifi and laundry, now free for owners. The pool and slide were fun. Staff very efficient and friendly.

I. M.Nice location close to their lake, 2 km from the village. Nice ambience. Informal atmosphere. Highlights were free electric bikes (and lots of mountain bikes), and the (very) hot pool. Great for relaxing after a days skiing. We had one meal in the restaurant, which was very reasonably priced, but both service and food were of a low standard. Service on arrival was interrupted by the phone, which was more important than the people standing there. A promised service of our room (we stayed 5 nights) did not happen. We enjoyed our stay, but the expected Worldmark standard was missing.

It has a Spa pool, main pool with slide, sauna and a gym.
We enjoyed staying here as there was plenty of space a nice sized kitchen with a full fridge/freezer. There was a dishwasher and all the utensils you needed.
There was a private outdoor courtyard.
A bathroom with a shower over bath for both options.
The longe was spacious with a pull out couch
M. K.All the staff were super friendly, we were greated by a very lovely lady named Helen. Room was nice, clean and tidy, beds were super soft. It's very unfortunate that we didn't try the pool because they were too many people at the pool, introverts like me and hubby weren't that comfortable with many people around the tiny pool. Otherwise everything else was wonderful, nice location too.

A. B.We had a great week there at the beginning of June. We had a Studio Appartment that suited us as we went out sightseeing every day. The Appartment was very warm and had a kitchenette so we could make our own breakfast. They have a laundry with washers and dryers that are free to use and they have bikes that are also free to hire. The swimming pool is closed at this time of year but there is an spa sauna room and small gym. Plenty of off street parking the Ramada is close to lake and town centre and less than an hour to Queenstown when you go over the Crown Range. Would definitely stay again.
A. T.Great stay! Rooms had everything we needed and if you are a wyndham owner getting to take out the electric mountain bikes are a must do. Pool and slide was also a hit with the kids.
C. M.Tidy accommodation with everything needed. Fridge, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, TV. Hot tub and pool also available to guests.
Biggest downside would be the restaurant. Very low standard of food. My wife also got sick the day after we are there.

S. T.We had 5 nights at Ramada Resort and wished we had booked longer. Great location, very convenient to ski fields and even had a complimentary drying room for gear. Loved the spa pool. The suite we had was perfect for self catering and had everything we needed, even a torch and umbrella - very thoughtful. Loved that the bedroom was separate from the lounge/dining. Nice big bed, a bit firm for me on the first night but got used to it. Not a zip-together job either as far as I could tell.
Nice strong, hot shower. The room was lovely and warm and heat easily adjusted. Can't wait to come back!

N. 6.Staff hospitality was amazing clean spacious rooms with swimming pools hot tub gym and centrally located. The pancake machine was a novelty we liked so much we stayed another night
S. J.Very modern Motel. Staff were always helpful. Pool/spa warm.. Would be great during a snowy day. Rooms are modern and warm. Would have been 5 star if they allocate a carpark to each room. Arriving back in the cold and dark and finding no parks close to our room was a bummer.
A. S.The room we were in was much larger than expected! It was clean with a self contained unit and the bed was very comfortable. Not much of a view but you do have the sky so the sunset and sunrises are pretty good! The hotel is on the outskirts of town but on the road out to treble cone which is approx 15min drive. To walk into town is about 2km which is far when you meander along wanaka lake for the most part. They have bikes you can hire.
R. C.Our stay was good. The TV did not work. But we were not there to watch TV. The breakfast was good, though the pancake maker had run out of batter. The attendee made us fresh eggs and bacon, as they had ran out. All in all, it was a good place to catch a nights rest.

Supplies basic breakfast , small bar, BBQ facilities, pool, etc. Rooms are good, we had an apartment, very clean and tidy, including facilities to wash clothes , iron etc so very handy if you are doing a bit of travelling, have stayed here a few times, always consistent, always quiet
S. M.The resort is in a breathtaking spot, close to many major sightseeing spots. Comfortable rooms and welcoming staff. It lost a star because for the price you pay for rooms I believe wifi should be free, not extra charge. Also the cleaners somehow missed an open bag of crackers left in the kitchen by the previous guests. Otherwise this resort is very nice and I would come again.
N. T.Being a Worldmark club owner we stayed in the 3 bedroom studio for the first 2 nights, the place was nice but didn't have air con just ceiling fans and it was super hot at night. Our last 2 nights in the 3 bedroom presidential was much better. Fully decked out, lots of appliances and toys to use. They even had a cocktail bar and a TV built in the bathroom wall to enjoy with spa bath. A great reservation for a big family get away. Very happy with our stay. The staff and service was very friendly and accommodating to all our needs.

Bikes were in major need of repair - back wheel almost fell off and gears kept slipping.
Sauna didn't seem to work properly. Outdoor spaces at the backs of the units are pretty small and average.

I.Convenient if you’d like to visit Roys peak track (5 minutes drive from the hotel). The kitchen is simple and cannot cook. Pool and sauna area is not very big. Mountain bike retail is available.

A. C.Place is clean, staff were helpful. Balconies are pretty neat. The rooms are not air conditioned, but you will not need it. There's a large ceiling fan and the patio door can be left open which will provide sufficient circulation. I liked the location because it was a little further away from the town center but it may be inconvenient if you do not have a car.

L. M.Very friendly staff overall and an extremely welcoming and hospitable 'host' when we visited in early January 2018. Resort is easy walking distance down to the lake and Wanaka town centre. Good range of facilities available overall (eg pool and spa). One unfortunate incident occurred though when a staff member would not let us hire bikes on new years eve for no apparent reason. This was pretty minor overall though
T.What a great place to stay. All utensils and cooking equipment supplied. The staff were very warm and welcoming on arrival. Be careful getting in and out, as I stubbed my big toe getting out and it about ripped off my nail and/or pitched me headfirst into the sink.
T. B.Good facilities but if you get a roadside room, fair amount of vehicular noise - no views from any of the rooms. An awesome pool area with a slide and hot pool as well - great fun for kids.
Only reason for 3 stars is that they expect you wash the dishes etc. which you use during your stay, there is no daily room service, no onsite restaurant but there is a bar with minimal food options that too which are defrosted and served. There is a microwave with grill oven function so you can probably get away with "cooking". Community style BBQ facilities are also very handy.
Being built of lockwood, in summer nights there is a lot of cracking and snapping noises from the roof expansion and contraction as the temperature changes.
T.The rooms have been refurbished since our last stay and they look great. Very busy, but staff were excellent. The staff were welcoming and really helpful with local knowledge, and the location was just right for us. We really enjoyed our stay and it was so very peaceful.
L. R.We had the pleasure of staying here in Wanaka. The staff were amazingly helpful after our little girl had become ill on the drive. Can not fault them and are extremely appreciative. Facilities were great, room beautiful and clean.

What was referred to as cafe / dining was little more than a cold, empty & unviting room with uninspiring menu, plain tables & uncomfortable chairs. It looked nothing like the photos on the website. T. c.We have just had 10 days at the Ramada Wanaka. It was really lovely accommodation well located to the town and beautiful surroundings. Very professional, pleasant and helpful staff that were always willing to assist.
R. M.This resort is conveniently located right outside of town, and just off the beach. It is within easy walking distance of the local park and the beautiful and popular photography site known as the Wanaka Tree. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are comfortable. While visiting the suana was broken but the hot tub provided a great way to relax after a day of hiking and exploring the beautiful countryside. The staff were friendly and services were reasonably priced.
D. A.Nicely designed with great views facing mountains. Has small kitchen, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher with laundromat on premises but not in the room. Pool with slides, gym, sauna, hot tub, reception, restaurant, bike rentals at low price for guests, small store on site. The only thing was a somewhat uncomfortable bed, and laundry detergent was not included even for Worldmark guests.
D. B.Front desk left before 9:30. Everything closes at 10. Gym only has treadmills and an elliptical. Pool is tiny. It's a fine place to stay for the night. I guess my expectations were higher for how high it was rated.

L.Loved this place and just loved Wanaka in general. Now this place is not a 5 star place, but the rooms do the job. The real stars were the staff. So amazingly friendly and helpful with everything we wanted to know and do. And the room rates were incredibly reasonable.
I would stay here. And visit Wanaka again in a heartbeat.
Rent a bike and ride around the lake. And make sure to hike Roy's peak and check out the blue pools
We spent 3 days in Wanaka, but could easily have spent a lot more.

T. M.Clean, comfortable, warm & homely. Great facilities - Gym, Spa & Sauna. Pool open in summer. Sufficient on-site parking. Only down side is you have to pay for WiFi. Overall nice stay.
M. R.Pleasant and simple resort. Dining/Bar area looks like a RSL bistro. No real food of substance available. Outdoor pool area was nice however a light over the BBQ area would be nice to see whilst cooking your food. Having to pay for WIFI in this day is a little steep as you can go to McDonald's and get it for free.
Staff were helpful and pleasant and the location of the resort is close to everything in Wanaka

The WiFi requires you to sign up with Ramada loyalty program or you pay extra for WiFi. This is the only hotel in New Zealand I stayed at that required this. I didn’t like this and it should be included like all other hotels.
I ordered a pizza and garlic bread for nearly $30 from the hotel cafe and it was the worst I’d ever tasted. I went into town to dominos for $5 a pizza and was 10 times better so I don’t recommend eating at this hotel as it’s poor.
Cleaning people didn’t also top up used tea and coffees and left dishes unwashed even though I stayed there 3 nights.
Sorry but I wouldn’t return.

T.Booked the Wyndham for a week's stay in Wanaka and it has been a very pleasant experience. Word to the wise if you don't have kids and you value your quite time do not get a room surrounding the pool area. Staff were friendly and offered good advice for places to eat.

R. L.I chose 1-bedroom accommodation with clean, organized and well-equipped kitchenette which is good for family of 4. Location is close to all of the restaurant's and downtown core but it is in a quiet location. Has mountain bikes for rent and they have plenty of information for outdoor activities in Wanaka.
T.The studio room are spacious and if you booked for a twin bed studio it can actually accomodate. The resort is only a short distance from the village. Each time upstairs went to the bathroom and flushed you could hear the water rushing down the pipe inside the bedroom wall.

B. M.We stayed here as a family in the presidential suite. OMG it is liking winning the lottery and being in a place you've always dreamt of having. Amenities is good and everything you would need minus the food is all there. I have to stay though that the wifi wasnt really that good most the times as it would cut on and off as well as being kind of slow for today's tech savvy generation. Parking as well is just down the stairs and had enough for our two car convoy. It's pretty much first come first serve basis otherwise if you come home too late you'll have to park in the front. Or off street.

T.The upstairs area has now been converted into a 'venus fly trap' for high pressure sales staff to entice visitors into joining up or existing members to buy more credits at extortionate rates. Would suggest a taxi upon arrival and departure as it is not an easy walk with luggage due to some hills. Great work Wyndham team.
T.As a Wyndhams owner I expect much more from a resort especially in consideration of the hefty maintenance dues we have to pay on a monthly basis. As that was all they did, we would really have preferred to maintain our privacy and take out the trash ourselves. Lots of noise.

P.Stayed here for our NZ South island adventure. What a great place, here with family so got the 3 bedroom unit. Nice fireplace in the room.
BBQ area well worth it too, really nice outdoor fireplace to sit with a glass of wine
