Amazing location! Management are super friendly & communication is A+. The rooms are extremely clean and well appointed. The kids loved walking out the back door into the sea, and back to the spa to warm up again. While we the adults enjoyed waking up to watch the sunset from the bbq deck each morning. Thank you so much for offering such quality accommodation, we made many great memories during our stay and would love to return to your slice of paradise again one day

Enjoy our stay there. My family had a very good time and would like to go back again. Spa, Trampoline, BBQ, boat and can go to beach from backyard. Good for family trip. Lots fun for adults and children.

Beautiful views , clean , friendly staff ,good location & amenities ,the only downside for us was the lack of air-conditioning, one small fan wasn't good enough for 2 rooms otherwise I would've given 5 stars rating!

Great place to stay, fantastic outlook over the sea, great owner's. We had a wonderful few days for our anniversary.

Absolutely fabulous place. We booked king size beachfront bedroom with balcony. Large kitchen with cooking facilities, huge bathroom. Very clean & spacious place. We could also hear the sound of waves from our room and balcony, so serene. Perfect place for relaxation. Friendly service. Town centre is approx 2.5 km from this place and has many good restaurants. FIVE STARS from us. Will definitely come back with extended family.

I found out this place through an offer on GrabOne and decided to give it a try. We stayed from Sunday till Tuesday. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the beach. The view from the room is just spectacular. Falling into sleep and waking up with the sound of the waves is mesmerising. The room is quite spacious with a kitchen equipped with everything you can need. They offer kayaks, bodyboards and other equipment. There is a spa in the garden which we deeply enjoyed in the evenings to unwind the day full of activities. The owners are lovely. They make sure that you have a great stay. I've already recommended this place to my friends in Auckland.

A very good motel, it was just what we wanted and right on the beach as shown, with a beautiful view of the bay from the units at the beachfront, though we were unable to get one of these, being we were a last minute booking. Nevertheless the unit (No. 7) was adequate for our needs, though in my opinion it would be a bit too compact for a family of four. Although it looked out on the street, the traffic noise was not a problem at night. The kitchen was well equipped and kept spotlessly clean with a stainless steel worktop, microwave and touch control hob. The bathroom was well done with very nice white fluffy towels. We would definitely go there again but a beachfront unit would be my preference.

Nice, clean, friendly place. If you think it's too light outside - check you haven't left your porch light on! Oops!

We stayed in room one for the last 3 nights - ground floor on the right, this had a beautiful sea view, and being able to walk straight down to the water for a swim was such a bonus. The beach was great, nice sandy Ocean floor with a few waves for fun. The staff were so friendly and helpful. With it being a long weekend, they catered for all groups. There were boogie boards and other beach equipment available to use. A spa pool was also available, but the temperature was a bit warm for us, at this time of the year. Thanks for a great stay.

I stayed from Tuesday to Friday. Everything we needed was here, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would love to return in the future.

My new favourite get away ! Absolutely beautiful spot we loved everything about this place the view the spa the gorgeous bbq area our unit was beautifully presented and the beds were comfy. And the host was so friendly and very welcoming. We will be back this place is a must do

Host was very accommodating and friendly. Beautiful room with awesome amazing views. Only downside was we didn't get to stay long enough. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a perfect stay in Whitianga 😀

Lovely place the owner was super friendly and helpful told us about walks etc with maps etc if not for him we would not have found all the gorgeous sites. Lovely spa here and rooms are quiet and clean we were 3 ladies staying here and had comfortable sleep. New towels in the morning etc great right On The beach.. Beautiful

Another ‘Grab One’ jaunt for us, & experience has taught these are not necessarily the bees knees. HOWEVER, this was genuinely a great value-for-money package. Fabulous outlook over Mercury Bay, & while we didn’t have much to do with our hosts during our 2 day stay, they were welcoming & gracious. The unit was comfortable, well equipped & clean .. serviced in our absence too . Would go again in a heartbeat

I can't say enough about the location of this hotel. The views from our 2nd floor room were AMAZING. Blissful morning and evening walks along a shell-strewn beach. Short drive from great dining, grocery store, and nearby adventures. Additionally, Paul was an excellent source of information for the area. We graciously accepted his offer to use the hotel kayaks, as well as the use of the hotel spades to dig our very own hot tub at the Hot Water Beach. We were only scheduled for one night; however, after the night quickly passed, we stayed for a second night. After driving through the town (and nearby towns), the hotel appeared to be the only beach front property in the area - several hotels had a beach view but not direct beach access. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family!

The room was excellent - immaculately clean, well furnished and equipped. Paul, our host, could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Definitely somewhere we will be coming to again and again

Beautiful views, friendly staff, rooms are clean though not necessarily super modern. Definitely one of the best places to stay in the Coromandel though. Just don't expect the Ritz.

Nice clean accommodation and lovely outlook over the beach. Only negative was the Spa Pool really needed more chemicals, it was very cloudy which put us off using the Spa.

The bed is not very nice. Refrigerator, microwave, two-hole induction, electric kettle are provided, and a washing machine is charged. The bathroom is spacious and clean, and it's nice to have a shower booth.
