K.Very good camping site for first timers! They have a lot of amenities that'll make your stay fun and memorable. Showers and kitchens are spread out across the site. Heaps of things for kids to enjoy. They had music night, movie night as well as day activities (face painting, bubble show, balloon making) for the kids!
A.Toilets and showers are very clean. Camp ground has a lot to offer. Short walk to hot water beach. Lots of things for kids to do. Came during a storm (very unlucky) so definitely need to come back to experience everything at its full potential.

Yes, we had the best weather but the facilities are awesome, clean, well maintained.
What really made the place awesome was the staff. I can not thank them enough, esp. catering for my gluten free takeaway needs.

S.Nice and affordable ! Good staff and pleasant surroundings. Close to Hot Water Beach. Nice coffee on site too ! Enjoyed staying there on the spacious sites.Just a few minutes stroll down to the beaches along the estuary where you also find a nice cafe and restaurant .

C.Loved our family time. Plenty of space. We have a 6 berth caravan and there was plenty of room for us. Nice walks and good spot to get away from devices (wifi is available on site)
m.This is our happy place. Although it's 635kms from our home, we've already stayed there 3 times during 2021, and we will return for summer.
This last visit was for 10 nights in October but although the weather didn't come to the party... it didn't rain on our parade! The indoor amenities/facilities are fantastic! My kids had so much to do and had a ball playing with all the other kids. They kept wanting to stay one more night, one more night, one more night.
The park is well maintained and spotless clean. The staff are so friendly to the point that you're convinced they love their jobs and us guests.

J.Stayed with family this summer and it was fantastic. We went between Christmas and New Years and there was an awesome group that ran great kids programmes and family evenings. The facilities were clean and tidy and the bonus was having the coffee shop, fish and chip shop and little store on site for those cravings. Only downside was that some campers would forget there were children running around and often driving faster than usual however overall, loved our experience. Also close to Hahei, Cooks Beach and nearby towns of Whitianga and Tairua - so plenty to do with family.
S.Very nice camping ground. Plenty of activities to do. Digging a hole in the sand for hot water was the highlight of the trip.

D.Lovely stay here. We were camping for 3 nights & they have everything you need within driving distance (expect supermarket) ensure you have all the food you need. There is a little shop on site for top ups. Great walk down to Hot Water Beach & easy drive into Hahei Beach also!
K.I had a great two nights in an ensuite unit. I love the layout of all of the different cabins and campsites, and the cafe does amazing food and coffee in the mornings (didn't try it at other times).
Thanks to the lovely reception staff who were very accommodating.
m.For the price paid although close to the beach it was nothing special. Clean and tidy as you would expect from a Top 10 motorcamp but not worth the cost. Have stayed in nicer places for less.

The fully self contained cabins are awesome, bathroom with an awesome shower, separate toilet, fully stocked with equipment kitchen, Webber BBQ outside, good heater, the shop at reception has everything you'll need if you don't want to drive to whitianga.

C.Visited during the december holidays and over new years and ultimately loved it, the staff are all very friendly and the accommodation was great and clean. The rooms was spacious and completely functional. Fish and chips is definitely a must and the holiday park is only a 10 minute scenic walk away from hot water beach. The new years party and get together in the middle was great fun and a total vibe. Would definitely visit again.
C.A wonderful stay. Although in the off season, the park is beautifully maintained, clean and tidy, friendly staff, basically a wonderful experience. The park has a lot to offer. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. Not a self contained one, but it has all we needed as the amenities are so vast. So much to offer for families, couples and individuals. There are lots of options not too far away for breakfast, lunch and dinners.
We would like to thank Anton for the good to do’s in the area. Your local knowledge and history of the area was great and much appreciated. It gave more meaning to our visit.
The park has a great recycling program from the normal recycling down to the food waste for the pigs, the waste of oil/fats from cooking.
The playground is fantastic. There are BBQ’s, Pizza ovens, an inside fire place in winter. A short stroll to the beach.
From the initial query at the time of booking to our farewell the service was amazing. It was a great break away and we thank you.

Facilities could not quiet handle the capacity this year: a couple of cold showers, overflowing cooking oil bin and horrible tasting water. But minor in the whole scheme of things.
T.Best holiday park in New Zealand! The range of accommodation is outstanding, the facilities clean and well stocked with everything you need. Lots of activities for the kids to keep them entertained for hours; bouncing pillow, 4 person bikes, playground, swings, kids program in summer and the Great Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Weekend. Plenty of space to spread out or find your own private hideaway in the native bush if you are camping. If you want luxury they have uniquely designed cabins and villas with ensuites and kitchenette etc. A well stocked store has everything you need in case you have forgotten to bring something as well as spade hire for the amazing hot pools a 10min walk away and lots of other beach gear.Will definitely come back again and again!
B.Second time we have been here. Facilities are topnotch, kitchen clean and big. Great showers that cater for everyone. Heard stag roaring and kiwi calling. Close to the beach, and there is a lovely restaurant close by
G.We had a deluxe cabin and loved it, everything you needed, and nothing you didn't. I'm 6'1" and could move around fine inside. Facilities were nice, clean, and the small breakfast place is awesome. It was a 5-8 minute walk along a lit path at night to the beach. Definitely recommend, and would stay there again.

Been there on Auckland’s day holiday and the place was busy but still clean.
Staff are very helpful and servicing the place regularly.
There was a live band on Saturday night which was a nice experience.
Walking distance to hotwater beach and 17 minutes drive to cathedral cove.
Good wifi speed (just 500mb free-$5 for 1GB) but no cellphone reception.
Fish n chips and coffee place on site (working 8am to 8 pm) and also a automatic coke machine operates.
Price: $28 per person for powered site (tent)
$24 for unpowered site (tent)
L.Great site, quiet during our visit (Sun-Weds) but I can imagine it gets busy and noisy during weekends and holidays. Hot clean showers, laundry and kitchen facility are all excellent as always with Top 10 sites. There’s no 3G on site but wifi is good. Highly recommend the Hot Waves Cafe which is a 5 min walk away for breakfast and lunch. The on-site fish & chips is also excellent for a quick snack. The only thing that would give it 5* is if there’s was a swimming pool to cool down in after a day at the beach!

Q.The site was fine but I wouldn’t recommend to stay here during public holiday. This is obviously a very popular camp site as it is close to the hot wartet beach. But it was also very crowded during the Labor Day long weekend. During the peak time, the hot water is not stable in the shower and I needed to stand under the cold water waiting for the hot water.
Another thing is we stayed in our tents at the non-powered site and I reserved the site close to the path-to-beach and the common facilities online. I thought this would be convenient but the result was I was awakened by people talking at 1:30am.
I am giving 4 stars because the staff and the site facilities were acceptable, but this may not be a good choice for tent camping during peak season
R.Best Holiday park we stayed in so far. Loved the small pods. Common area was clean, and the staff helpful. Handy to rent spades at the site.
