C.Was a really nice place to stay, felt like luxury until we found a cockroach in a cup in the cupboard, also found the bed to be very hard, partner and I woke up with extremely sore backs and necks. Over all was still a great place for the one night we stayed. Owner was absolutely great, easy to take too and took in my concerns without hesitation.
H.A wonderful friendly place, clean and modern. Easy parking, no noise. Best of all is Charlie the cat. He really made our stay special. His cuddles and chats were extra awesome.
M.We had a two bedroom unit. It was spacious ckean and well equipped. Location to town is fantastic. They go out of there way to make your stay perfect. Many thanks Fred and Barbara.

E.We stayed at the Peninsula Motel for 2 nights . Rooms were a little dated however the stay was very comfortable. The rooms had all we needed and the beds were super comfy. Free on-site parking. Woke up to the newspaper at our door and was always asked if we needed anything further. Would definitely stay again. Great location and short walking distance to bars etc. Friendly staff and host. 👍

P.Lovely spacious clean and safe motel. Have stayed a couple of times now and the outdoor seating makes it easy if you are travelling with friends to sit and socialise . Very good location also

R.I was very impressed by the Deluxe studio that we stayed in. It was spacious and very clean, had nice modern furniture and bathroom and the bed was really comfortable. It was as most hotel rooms that I have stayed in. Would highly recommend!
N.Don’t be fooled that it’s only a three star motel, very new, clean, well maintained motel. Bakery across the road for morning breakfast and lots of good restaurants within walking distance from the motel. Family friendly motel, highly recommended.
R.Nice and little cozy place to stay, it is good value for what you are paying for, it is bit dated, but has everything, maybe not dishwasher, but this is ok. I think I will stay there again next time while I am in town. Thanks Fred.

R.Quiet location. Close to town centre, ferry, beach, supermarkets. Fred gave us spades for hot water beach. Towels too. Very relaxed and welcoming motel. Charlie the cat was great too.

- They have paper towel, very handy
- Great place and good value for money
- 1 Car park is allocated per room, but plenty of offstreet parking

- Dated rooms
- Room is a bit dark (would be nice to have it installed LED light)
- Should be cold in winter, specially the toilet

- 5 mins walk to the center
- Good running distance to whitianga warf 850m away, 1.1k to simpson beach, 3k to buffalo beach, 3.6k to Ohaku beach and 4k to whiti water sports
- About 300 to 400 m away from new world and count down
- Z station is 1 block away
Note:
There are plenty of seagulls so it is best to avoid wearing bright colored hat. Lesson learned for me.
R.The cleanest motel we've ever stayed at!! Very quiet and so comfortable. Perfect for our family, kids can run and play on the grass and scooter on the driveway . Playground needs a revamp but that's all!
