A.This is an amazing company, often giving people 20/20 vision for the first time in their life. I had laser surgery here 20 years ago and my eye vision is still very good. This week my daughter had laser surgery here and we found the business was still as friendly welcoming and caring, as 20 years ago, with fantastic specialists. Their record keeping is top notch, they still had my records from 20 years ago in 1997. Their premises are pleasant relaxing and the lovely receptionist went out of her way to be helpful. There is plenty of parking onsite.
A.Best medical treatment I had in the last couple of years. Very professional, friendly, competent, state-of-the-art equipment. Fantastic!!
H.I had laser eye surgery (Relex SMILE) in December 2020. Hands down the best decision I’ve ever made! I’m so glad that I got it done at this time in life and hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy it for many years to come. All of the check ups and measurements done prior were very thorough and they answered all my questions, putting my mind and worries at ease. Dr Dean Corbett was wonderfully calm and professional, as were the nurses, doctors and reception staff I encountered at Auckland Eye and the neighbouring Oasis Surgical. I still have moments when it feels totally surreal that I can SEE!

A.I had a blocked eye duct which caused swelling of the eyelid and was very painful. I called in to book an appointment and had the minor surgery the same day! The admin staff completed all the insurance paperwork for me, Incredible service, great staff - knowledgeable doctor too. The nurse was very caring also, highly recommended.

A.I had SMILE laser eye surgery for short sightedness on the 3rd August with Dr Mora. There is nothing bad to say about this facility. I felt informed and comfortable from the moment I walked in. I had travelled from the South Island to Auckland to have this surgery. I had the assessment and surgery all within 2 hours as well as a follow up appointment in the late aftwrnoon. I could see clearly that arvo apart from a white haze as if i was looking through fog, but i could read things in the distance clearly. Now, two weeks later my vision is amazing! I am so glad i had the surgery, it is well worth the money.
K.I had a really good experience here with my 3 year old. Toddlers can be challenging at the best of times and I had to take my 10 week old baby along too but everyone was so patient and so good with us. Great kids play area too .

A.I cannot recommend enough professionalism of Dr David Prendergast, Ian and the whole team involved!
I did my relex smile surgery in April 2018. Everything went superb and I no longer wear glasses.
Clinic performs 3rd generation Relex SMILE surgeries since late 2015, which is the reason I decided to do SMILE here. 3rd gen operations, I believe, require higher surgeon's skill, experience and constant practice, in comparison to LASIK, which is a bit more automated; go for SMILE if you can, it is hands down best procedure with today's technology.
N.The vision in my right eye was being affected by an epiretinal membrane. I spent several months investigating the best course of action. I'm a GP, and my wife is an Ophthalmic Nurse Specialist so I'm well informed. I had a vitrectomy and epiretinal peel performed by Dr Sarah Walsh at Auckland Eye. The surgery was quick and painless. My vision improved immediately and within two months was perfect. I recommend Auckland Eye without reservation.
