K.I visited the Takapuna store recently with 2 of my daughters and we all bought glasses, me using a prescription from elsewhere and they both had tests onsite. We couldn't fault anything - great frame choices, and excellent customer service. We will definitely use them again and would recommend the store to anyone. Also great to have a store on the street rather than in a mall on Covid times!
V.Eye test was very thorough and an email follow-up from the optician on an issue was very much appreciated. Glasses were ready sooner than expected too. Thank you!

She's very gentle and explains every procedure very well. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable. The staff who works there was also very helpful and nice. Love the service!
w.The staff are really good. The optometrist is excellent. Best eye exam ever. The glasses were inexpensive compared to my last 2 pairs, 1 from specsavers and 1 from opsm and the quality is superb. Furthermore they were ready within 4 days and because of lockdown they sent them to me.
My wife will become a customer when she is ready for her next pair

K.I went in yesterday as a friend of mine advised they were having a sale. I usually go to Specsavers and so my expectations for service was low to say the least. But boy am I completely shocked in the best way possible. The two lovely sale assistants whose names I believe were Cassy and Renae were absolutely amazing! As soon as I walked in they both greeted me and came over and told me about the company and pricing and that they do FREE eye tests?!! And no catch? So good! They jumped straight in helping to style me and find some nice frames. Usually I really really struggle to find frames I like but after 15 minutes with them I feel in love with 2 non sale frames but it didn’t matter because their pricing were so incredibly reasonable! My optical insurance runs over next month so I will be back in for a new test and glasses! Thanks so much for the amazing experience ladies. You rock! I will be back!

I had an old Bailey Nelson frame that I LOVE and have served me so well for the last 2 years but they needed some tightening up, which the Albany store manager rudely refused to do for me. Went to Takapuna, she greeted me so warmly and was more than happy to help me with my frame. She made a point to have a really genuine conversation with me and was so incredibly kind. Can’t thank her enough for the service! Definitely recommend going to Takapuna, not Albany.

s.I’ve always felt well looked after when visiting the shop.
I ordered sunglasses just before lockdown and of course they were delayed several months because of Covid and then they got lost for a bit as they were sent to a different shop.
When they arrived I realised there was something wrong with the bifocals so they have Been sent off again.
So it’s Sept now and they were ordered in early March.
Feeling a bit disappointed and hoping my eyesight hasn’t changed by the time I get them.
C.Wonderful service. The optometrist spent a lot of time with me doing the most thorough eye test I’ve ever had, and the customer service was superb. My glasses ended up being about half the price I’ve paid at other places.

Even though I was in at the end of the day when they were due to close I wasn't rushed trying to pick my glasses. The staff member there (Linda) spent 30mins helping me choose, her honest opinion and patience made the process much easier for an indecisive person like me! I honestly cannot fault them, I'll be back and will make sure my family go here too.

J.Unfortunately our overall experience at you Takapuna Branch wasn’t great. My husband and I brought 3 pairs of glasses between us. At the time of paying we were told the turnaround time was 7 to 10 days and to wait until we received a text for each pair of glasses (3 separate texts). This was the 4th February. My husband received one text on the 11th. After hearing nothing I phoned on the 17th and was told that all our glasses were ready and had been in store since the 11th. We called in on the 12th to be told by the same girl that answered my phone enquiry that only Two pairs were in store. She did apologise. She then checked to on the computer and said they were on their way. When asked can you phone and see when they will be here she just said “No” with no explanation. My husband received a text on the 20th. 17 days or 11 working days after the order was placed. With no apology. We don’t live in the and this was not the service we were expecting. Not a good experience.
