I had a first class experience at Crawshaw Opticians. The big difference to other opticians I have been to is that they genuinely care about their customers and their eye health - not just about selling new glasses. I was told things I didn’t know about my eyes and guided to change my eye care habits as well as being fitted with new glasses. I have every intention of making them my long term opticians. They are terrific!!

Bought a pair of glasses back in July after the first lockdown to replace my 2 year-old ones from specsavers. Used the treatme voucher. While the options for the frames were limited, I chose some frame that are double hinged for $35 extra on top of the $59 voucher. Also decided to add an anti glare coating for an additional $35 because why not, my old pair never had it. Total cost was $130 which is cheaper than my first pair from specsavers and they are also more comfortable. Safina and Mobin were of great help and extremely friendly when I was looking at my options. I will be back when I need to replace my glasses again.

A few years ago I had a serious eye condition that my GP wasn’t able to detect, and Safina diagnosed and arranged for me to see an eye specialist the next day. Thanks to her it got treated promptly. Absolutely fantastic. Mobin took me in without a prior appointment on the spot. Him and his wife made the whole process stress free and easy. For someone who was doing the whole thing for the first time it would have been daunting and scary, but with these 2 lovely people it was a natural and comfortable feeling, have been treated like a regular client with care and compassion. I went there using a special discount for designer frames, lenses and an eye exam all for $59!! I ended up upgrading the lenses to transitions and had a contact lense consult that included a month use contact lenses and cleaning solution. All up $359 - Bargain. Very affordable and friendly service. Easy convenient location including bicycle parking out front. Nice patient & knowledgeable staff. Clean and well maintained complex. I happily recommend this company to anyone.
