Eye test time again; I try to do it every two to three years and I usually come to this store. Based on my own experience; every optometrist at OPSM (Queen Street) who has seen me is very kind and polite. The one this time listened to everything I wanted to mention to update her and/or answered every question I had with regards eye care. She made me feel comfortable and for sure I will be back and book my eye test for next time.

Very friendly, professional, and honest. 🙂 While getting replacement driving glasses l got the optometrist to check if l needed new reading glasses. OPSM said l did NOT need to change my reading glasses (unlike another big company that said l DO need to replace them even though l can read well with my old glasses).🤓 Love the honesty and the fact OPSM are NOT trying to take unnecessary money from their customers.💯

The optometrist is very polite and patient to answer my questions. The salesperson is very nice and tried to adjust the glasses to best fit my eye positions. Overall the shop is highly recommanded.

Booked for Contact lenses and repair of my prescription lens. Excellent service from entry to exit. Had my Contact Lens Appointment here. Never had contact lenses before , so I had eye check to confirm my prescription and eye health. The Optometrist was very detailed and they have those high tech opto stuff make it more accurate which was really important! Impressed! They also assisted and gave me tips how to safely & correctly put contact lenses, I appreciated that they're very patient and supportive on this. In the other hand, I need my prescription lens replaced, as it was slightly cracked. I use a non-OPSM frame but they accommodated me , advised they can replace the lens Manager and the associates were very helpful and friendly, gave me the best possible type of lens for my needs and budget. After few weeks, I had a notification that lens is ready and came back; Even though they're really busy, the staff are still courteous &accommodating Now, my pair of glass looks brand new and feels lighter too! It's like 8K resolution all the time! I was very happy with it! Overall, the service exceeded my expectation and was elated with the purchase , Can't wait to try on the contacts!

Fantastic service. Greeted as soon as I walked in, politely left alone when I replied I was browsing for now. When I required assistance, staff was attentive and friendly. Approachable. Assisted through my purchase, with available options presented to me clearly. Gave me a great deal on an amazing pair of prescription sun glasses. Top notch, highly recommended.

Great customer service. I had a wonderful experience. They checked my eyes in detail. I always get headaches when I change my contact lenses strength but the contact lenses I got was very comfortable. Thank you very much.

Keep up the good work! At short notice, I had to get eyesight certificate from my own optometrist OPSM Queen Street last Saturday. This was after I failed eyesight check while renewing my drivers licence in Auckland. The young optometrist was professional and performed the tests on my eyes more quickly than the previous optometrist (now retired). I took the certificate back to complete the renewal of my ten year drivers licence that same day. Thank you! Keith Chong, Auckland.

Called on Saturday morning, they were able to get me an optometrist appointment the same day. Optometrist (Kristal?) was fantastic; frames and lenses ordered the same day, ready within a week. Five stars. More recently they also sorted me with my new contacts no drama. I think they've had some staff changes since some of the other reviews, current set of staff are great.

I went to the Queen St. store because it was close to where I study and also because I felt that they had the best looking glasses frames compared to the other retailers I had been to, I was very happy with my purchases. I also felt the staff were friendly and they were very helpful when I asked them questions. Thank you OPSM!

The optometrist was gentle and patient, wearing the glasses two days after getting them. At the beginning, the glasses were a little normal and soon got used to them. The thin lenses were also very light to wear.

I just really wanted to thank the Auckland CBD team for their excellent customer service. James was really great in setting up my eye-test appointment and even more superb at showing me around the different frames and lens options; ensuring that I got the perfect pair of glasses. He was informative and made the entire process really stress-free. James ensured I left question less and that I was knowledge in every circumstance. The glasses were also ready extremely quickly and looked and worked perfectly! Thank you!!

I've been attending OPSM for eye test appointment over past few years and had never issues with their team, so it's sad to see few harsh comments here. Now, I'm adding my 2cents on recent personal experience with OPSM. First off, it was time for another scheduled eye test and I had Alice (optometrist). During my brief time with Alice, her professionalism and detailed explanation on the tests carried out were excellent. This appointment resulted in making some adjustments to the lens, so it was an excuse/opportunity to look at replacing my existing frames. Queenie assisted me on looking at trying out few frames and this took a while. I relied on Queenie's guidance to find the best suitable frames for me, and in the end we found the frames we liked. Few days later, I received text message to pick up my new frames. So yesterday morning, I revisited OPSM only to look for Queenie first, but she was unavailable with other customers, so another staff member stepped in to assist me.:-) Shortly after I tested and was satisfied with all my new frames, as I was leaving I managed to have quick hi/bye chat with Queenie. :-) Anyway, my overall recent experience from start to end with the team at OPSM Queen Street was excellent on providing quality service which I really appreciated. :-)

Great range of designer frames, excellent service and quick delivery. Alice Ku, my optometrist, was friendly and knowledgeable. My two pairs of glasses were ready within the week. Highly recommended!

Friendly professional staff, not cheap but you get what you pay for :) I found the free eye test useful and the advice of the optometrist useful in guiding me toward the best lens choice based on my needs

I don't find OPSM Queen St as bad as some of the comments here. I just had my consultation, OCT scan and ordered my new lenses with blueguard and invisibles UV dual side. Love the professionalism of Alice Ku, so friendly and approachable. Also I was served by Queenie later on and I found her friendly enough to deal with. The only downside I had was the lack of seating for customers. All in all I had a positive experience and far from some of the rubbish comments in here.

I wear RGP lenses, and not many places are set up to handle this. Alice Ku, optometrist, and the store manager are awesome. She even noted that my ulcerative colitis could affect my vision, and explained the risks I wasn't even aware of. Other optometrists would always try to push soft lenses that didn't offer the same clarity RGPs do, she already knew RGPs are best for me. The store manager helped me choose some frames, and although I really wanted a large pair of cat eye glasses he explained that with my very high prescription that unfortunately it wasn't an option for me. We chose a pair that, in the end, really minimized that "coke bottle" look.

I've been coming here for a few years now. I'm a Keratoconus patient, so I needed extra care when fitting my lenses, and I was very well looked after here. Even now living in Albany, I will still come out here instead of a closer branch simply because of the extra effort the staff here went into looking after me and making sure I left with the best possible vision.

Optometrist here is really good. Older gentlemen. Seen him three times. He's top notch. As for the others I have dealt they are definitely not on the ball. Just don't seem to know a lot. Also if you ring this place - they don't answer the phone 2 out of 3 times. They also do not return recorded messages Also one time came for a prebooked appointment. Waited 20 minutes past the appointment time and then left.

Sakshi is beyond helpful and lovely. She helped me calculate the price of multiple lenses with multiple sunglasses... with such a friendly attitude and awesome smile. OPSM Queen street is my go-to!
