Been there for a friend who needed prescription glasses. Extremely happy with the optometrist and the staff who helped to choose the right ones for us.Great service by the staff with lots of patience and personally happy with the wide range of collections available. located opposite to Newworld in Albany mall.. Bought two pairs of glasses for the price of one due to the sale offers. Although they said it would take 3weeks to get the glasses with prescribed lenses,it just arrived in 10days time

The service was great. My wife’s glasses lost a screw on the way out to a meeting and we urgently needed it repaired on a Saturday morning. We stopped in there and despite the fact they were busy, they helped us quickly and were very friendly. They fixed and cleaned the glasses and did not even want any money for it!

I gave my broken sunglasses to Gill at Specsavers Albany Mall on Thursday evening at about 7.30pm and she messaged me to tell me they were done and ready to collect at 8.30pm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to pick them up but what an impressive turn around. Excellent service!

JuEe at Albany Specsavers was an absolute delight to deal with! She was professional *and* very personable, with the sort of easy manner that only comes with total competence. JuEe was extremely helpful in laying out all our options for a couple of new pairs of glasses, suggested the perfect pair of frames for my wife (ones that we'd overlooked ourselves), and made sure that our choices were ones that would work for us in the real world. My wife and I are super impressed and will be requesting her personally in future.

I first had my appointment with Specsavers in Takapuna Mall, they push to upgrade you and there service is soooo slack - they didn't even measure my new glasses to see if they fit right - it was only by visiting Albany Specsavers that the difference was 100% so much better. I actually got a choice as to whether my glasses were correct and fitted properly. The staff are so through and so polite and informetive

I gave Juee my glasses that were very loose and would slide down every 10 seconds and she immediately fixed it for me. Juee was nice and clearly told me what she was doing with my glasses. We got my glasses fixed really quickly!

Just want to thank Ju Ee so much today for her excellent service. I walked in to Spec Savers Albany to ask if my glasses could be repaired. I was promptly met by Ju Ee who took them away and quickly returned with them all fixed and also fitting so much better. To top it off, there was no charge. Oh the joy to walk out with my glasses staying firmly on my face and not cutting my nose anymore. Thank you Ju Ee and thank you Spec Savers Albany.

Fantastic service! The talented team amazingly managed to repair a mangled pair of frames that I thought would be beyond redemption. The team at this branch consistently give great service and I am happy to have been a customer for over 10 years.

I normally don't write reviews for big companies but I had such a good experience today that it deserves 5 stars. The staff who attended to me was warm and friendly. My optometrist was skilled and empathetic. I had no problems booking my appointment online. I also wasn't pressured into buying anything on the spot. I was also told that it's cheaper for me to order my contact lenses from their website instead of placing the order in store. I appreciate that!

Needed my glasses repaired as soon as possible during Level 3 lockdown and once I managed to get hold of them they were very prompt in facilitating a replacement identical set of frames. Am very grateful.

I had the most pleasant experience with Specsavers Albany this week when I went in for a regular test. Many thanks to the optometrist Risa and the bright young man Kevin who really looked after me. Would highly recommend them both if you are looking for reliable kind people who know what they are doing.

One of the best experiences I have had at an optometrist , I was seen by Chris who was very professional and educational about how my eyes are going and Jennie helped me out with my frames which I am very excited to receive in the near future. Very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend and will be returning when I need to again.

So professional and friendly. Made our kids feel at ease. My son was so nervous going for a check up but after meeting the team he was his cheerful self again. definitely recommend them if you have children.

Had a great visit at the Albany Specsavers store. A staff member greeted me after a minute of browsing and quickly had me booked in for an appointment that day. The optometrist I saw, Maheep, was very friendly and patient. Thankfully I only had a minor change to my prescription and didn't have to get new glasses and wasn't pressured at all to change my frames.

Took our 6 year old to get his eyes checked at specsavers Albany.We were welcomed by such friendly staff. so professional and they made my son feel at ease. his nerves disappeared straight away. Thank you so much.

Went there for my booked AA member free eye test. The shop was super busy, but I got serviced instantly which is very good. Eye test was professional and detailed. They also help to clean my old glasses. The only down side is that everyone speaks so fast, make me feel like they are in a routine.

I have just visited Specsavers in Albany Mall, from start to finish it was a very professional and welcoming service. Cherysh on the front desk is very pleasant and helpful. There is also large selection of frames to choose from, and the friendly staff help you choose. Highly recommend.

Easy, hassle free eye check appointment. The optometrist was fantastic and explained everything well. I wasn't pressured into making a purchase of new glasses today, but the assistant explained the different options to me thoroughly so I could make a decision and come back at a later date.

Went in to the Albany Mall store today as the screw had come out of my glasses while shopping at the mall. Even though the store was extremely busy they offered to fix them for me straight away and insisted they didn't want any payment. Great experience getting my family's eyes tested at specsavers. Brought my parents in to get tested, the optometrist Leslie was great! She was very professional and helpful explaining everything in chinese to my parents.

I am a visitor to NZ. Had to extend the stay due to Pandemic crisis. Wanted to replace my eye glasses. Visited a few optometrists and chose Specsavers Albany. To be frank I am very much happy and satisfied with the service throughout the process from eye test, selection of a frame to my requirement and collection of eye glasses including a Flip-on dark glasses. Request to maintain the same standard of customer service at all the Specsavers outlets.

I have received great service and today received by courier new glasses that had been delayed due to COVID closure. Just another example of the consideration shown to customers which is appreciated.

Have had several occasions to deal with the staff here and every time i have found them most helpful, professional leaving me satisfied with the service afterwards. I have got glasses from them but recently i decided to convert to contact lenses. Of course being a first time user i was a bit nervous about putting them in and taking out. But they do give a time to teach you, but this did not go well for me at first. No fault of the girls teaching me. They explain and help very well. I must particularly mention Gill in the shop. She was the one who finally got me on track . Her method and instruction are very good. Now i can put them in and take out very quickly. Thank you Gill!. Also i must mention of course the optometrists there. The two i dealt with ( two different asian ladies ) were most helpful removing the lense when i could not remove myself and in making sure i eventually had the correct prescription. Thank you!

Recently my sister passed away and I noticed she’d been into the Albany store for new glasses a couple of days before. I called to stop the order if possible, it wasn’t but Robyn said she would organise a refund and give my Sisters glasses to the Lions Club who send them to the Islands. Very helpful, ordered my sunglasses over the phone after having such a bad experience with one of the staff at the Glenfield store.

A Registrar at the North Shore hospital treated me as a neurotic and sent me home with "eye floaters". Several days later i went for a check up with a lady at Specsaves Albany (i wish i remembered her name - an Asian lady). She took my symptoms seriously, did a thorough examination and discovered bilateral optical neuritis - she sent me straight to urgent eye care. I want to thank you so much for your services and saving my vision from further damage. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend your services A+
