A.I found the Foate Optometry Bishopdale staff incredibly helpful after my little grand daughter twisted one arm of my glasses. The welcome was very pleasant from reception when I entered.
Even though I hadn't dealt with them before, Optical Assistant, Marcia straightened and tightened the arm, cleaned the lens, fitted and tightened the screws. After that, she cleaned and tightened my old pair that I was using.
When I went to pay, there was no charge, which amazed me as this doesn't happen very often. Marcia said cleaning and tightening glasses is all part of their service which is complimentary. I highly recommend this firm to others.
A.Long story short. I had a very bad experience with Specsavers....
Absolutely fantastic service. I was booked (which was quite easy) in with Micheal who was great! explained what was happening along the way and why he was doing this and that. He was very good to talk and general chatting.
Pricing may be a bit high compared to specsavers, but it reflects the care you get and professional opinion as its one on one with the optometrists the whole time and not just pasted on to a technician. But they support PartPay which is awesome if you need to pay it off
Definitely my Local Optometrist from now on
