Such an amazing staff and service at this branch. Savvy,the staff member looked after our needs and gave us the best deal. Highly recommended this store if someone looking for the glasses and eye checkups.

James at the Bryce St branch is awesome. His help was greatly appreciated in rectifying an issue with my second pair of glasses. His friendliness and desire to meet my needs while I waited was fantastic. I wish all people I dealt with, whether opticians or other people who deal with the public were as obliging and genuinely helpful. Thanks again James.

Starting with prompt service, attentive staff and friendly atmosphere. I had amazing Optometrist- Clara and completed service with Grace who showed me their range of beautiful frames. Made the process less daunting as a second time customer to Specsavers in total. Appreciate their service and can’t wait to get my glasses

Everyone who looked after me at Specsavers Hamilton CBD was absolutely lovely! My optometrist was Clara, who was super patient with me as I'd not had a proper eye exam since I was about 10. She flicked back and forth between prescriptions as many times as I needed to make sure I got the right one! The shop staff especially were super kind in helping me pick frames. Sujata, Tawney and Brittney made the whole process positive and fun, even though due to covid they had to clean every single pair I picked up - and there were many! All in all, I had a great experience getting my first pair of glasses at Specsavers Hamilton CBD, and would recommend going there again!

Amazing service, Brittney, Grace and Clara were really hands on, great communication and service. Brittney took me through applying and removing contact lenses she made the experience enjoyable and not scary at all. James at the front desk was also super helpful and accomodating! Loved the staff and service at the Hamilton CBD Specsavers.

Saw Brittney at the store yesterday and she was awesome! Helped me heaps and gave lots of good feedback to help me pick out the perfect glasses! I appreciated it a lot, there was also another lady working with her too (I can’t remember her name) and she was super helpful and sweet too! Thanks heaps guys!! Specsavers give these girls a raise, they deserve it!! 😁

My wife and I attended with my elderly mother-in-law for an eye test and new glasses. My mother-in-law is frail and in a wheelchair. The staff went out of their way to make the appointment as easy as possible for her. Many thanks to Grace, Jen and Tawney for their professionalism and kindness.

Kia Ora, dropped my two spec savers glasses off for some TLC with James today & he is awesome! Polite, upbeat & so my second experience with spec savers has excellent too! Thank you to the staff member that got them for me this afternoon too, sorry I didn’t get her name. Shop was very busy however staff were still polite & catering to everyone’s needs. The team at Specsavers CBD are incredible. They’re upbeat and welcoming. Vicky was exceptionally good at helping me pick the right pair of glasses which I totally love. My optometrist Kate was thorough, listened well and explained things clearly. I felt well looked after. After having been to many optometrists over the last 15 years, this was by far one of the best. Thanks guys.

I loved the store. The staff were amazing, specifically Vicky. She was everywhere making sure that everyone gets attended asap. She has a such a passion for her job that can translated into pure excellence. WELL DONE !!! Specsavers Hamilton CBD store for employing such a remarkable staff member. Highly recommend it.

Today I had an amazing experience with this specsavers, James was awesome with helping me get my glasses moved from Hastings to Hamilton and Emma was super helpful with fitting them when they arrived and gave me an awesome goodie bag. Super friendly staff couldn't have asked for a better service! If you guys have an employee of the month these two should be nominated FOR THE WHOLE YEAR 👍

Lovely staff, got all the help we needed. Both the women we got help from were kind and very helpful. They helped us pick out glasses that suited me for a good price and were all round wonderful.

Amazing customer service! Got an eye exam today from Clara and she was so lovely and kind, really made the process easy for me. Sujata, Tawney and Vickey looked after my brother who was shopping for frames while I was getting my test. They helped him get some good ideas of what he was after and had some really nice suggestions that ended up being the ones he went with, it was a very busy morning and there were lots of customers needing their attention so I really appreciated that they all checked in and helped us when the others were needed else where. A really nice team and one of the best experiences I’ve had at the optometrist in a while.

I had a great experience today at specsavers, all the team were very polite and helpful. I had Hayden do my eye exam and he was very professional and friendly. It was over much quicker than I had expected and I felt comfortable the entire time.

I experienced an excellent customer service from both my optical assistant Tawney and Vicky, Tawney’s patience and product knowledge helped me to have 2 pairs of my dream glasses. The optometrist who I can’t remember his name is very good at what he’s doing. This was my first time with Specsaver and will definitely going to visit them again in the future. Thank you Tawney.

Best service EVER received in NZ. James is amazing, great at his job, good attitude, very friendly and customer focused. Will definitely go back. Also a shout out to Hayden who saw me at short notice with no appointment and was absolutely lovely.

Wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable service. I had my brand new baby with me and no one minded when she was upset, Hannah didn't bat an eyelid and carried on my exam effortlessly. I also really appreciate the complementary glasses cleaner and cloths. Would definitely recommend

Wonderful initial visit with Hannah followed by Grace as I chose my 2 pairs of glasses with lots of discussion on progressive lenses. Picked my glasses up today, again help, advice and some laughs with Grace and Tawney. Very helpful.

I still can't believe how overwhelmingly positive my experience was here! It was my first time not only at Specsavers, but at any sort of optometrist in general and I was admittedly really anxious about it...but all of the staff were soso overwhelmingly friendly and welcoming, words will never be enough to express just how grateful I am for each and every single person I spoke to! My only regret is how terrible I am with names, I wish more than anything that I could list them so that they could be thanked personally! :( The man at reception was absolutely lovely, he was my first impression of the staff and any of the apprehension I may have had melted away the moment I stepped through the door thanks to him. It was also my first time picking out a pair of glasses frames, and he even took the time to give me his honest opinion on them. Thank you so much for being so sweet, and for all your help! I'll try not to let them get swept away heheh, and I'll never forget your kindness!! I also spoke to a lovely blonde woman who took the time to pick out different frames that she thought would suit me specifically, just so I could try them on. She really tried to help me find ones that I'd feel like myself in and thanks to her, I feel almost as though the ones I chose are an extension of myself and reflect a big part of me, silly as it may sound. Thank you so much for your sincerity, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! That's not even to mention my optometrist herself, she was incredibly professional and I mean that in only the best of ways. She was soso kind and the only way I know how to describe how speaking with her made me feel was understood. She did an amazing job at explaining everything, too, especially to someone with a pea brain like me. Long story short, the store's entire atmosphere is so warm and friendly. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Specsavers to anyone without hesitation, especially this store in particular. Thank you again, to everyone there!! ♡

Really appreciate the personalised and meticulous customer service provided by two members of your staff, Sujata and James, on a New Years Day no less! Also loved Vicky's professional approach to fitting the new pairs of glasses on the day I collected them. Two thumbs up! :)

Vicky-leigh was so welcoming and an absolutely stunning lady!! Best experience I've ever had at an optometrist ngl not usually the type to write reviews like literally ever usually cba but one of the workers there Brittney in particular was the sole reason my anxiety was lifted and that I actually made a purchase, actual gem of an employee and like deserves a lot. Like all of the employees were nice don't get me wrong and told me the basics n that but she actually pulled up on me and like gave me opinions and was really good during the whole like "measuring" process n that (I probably never would of asked anyone cause anxiety) sooo like y'all better have her on some good pay cause she did too well thank y'all definitely recommend this place price wise as well ngl best prices i've seen anywhere.

Great service and friendly helpful staff. Glasses were a great price, I got two pairs, they didn't take long to arrive. My child broke a pair, they fixed them without any hesitation. Highly recommend!

Such amazing service here! My boy broke his glasses and I was stressing about replacing them, the two ladies who helped us especially, one literally helped him try on almost every frame in the shop! While the other was so sweet fitting them for us. Thanks ladies! Cannot recommend enough 👍

From the first contact, testing etc. until today's collection of my new glasses, I was very pleasantly surprised by the first class service. The friendly and knowlegable staff certainly deserve great credit. At no point was I left waiting, despite the fact that I came about half an hour early for today's collection! we had our appointment at 2:15pm, but was attended after 15mins. The counter staff smiles all the time, very accommodating. The optometrist was helpful and patient for my son’s eye check, making sure he follow through the instructions.. it was his first time and quiet scared about his eye check-up. Good location, near Hamilton central. And the shop was on sale, offering cheaper specs..

WOW! Having had problems with my first pair OF GLASSES i was not happy when i rang after receiving my 2 year review reminder.. BUT i am so happy now when both pairs are being replaced with much friendly care and attention was made to make sure my new glasses are right for me. Quote " We want to make sure you are happy." Popped in today and Vicky was such a great help-fixed my glasses for me and was great thank you!

I had an optometrist exam yesterday at SpecSavers (I'll be getting cataract surgery in about a week and a half), and when I went to pay, after I swiped my Eftpos card they told me I'd paid and didn't need to enter my PIN. Today I checked my bank balance and saw that the payment had gone through on my credit card, which I hadn't even taken out of my wallet. I suppose that this is paywave, or some other humbug marketing term, and is supposed to make things Easy, but I feel violated, as it someone had burgled my house or otherwise invaded my home. I think when I go back for new glasses of something I'll leave my credit card at home, hidden, or maybe wrap it in aluminium foil.
