I thoroughly recommend this optometrist for a friendly and professional service. Worth the drive from Rotorua.

A.Customer service is the best I have had in a very long time. BN value there customers and are extremely helpful, I was expecting my glasses to be taken in to get repaired and they replaced them for me. The replacement pair arrived within a week. Have since been back, and the experience was just as great. The two pairs of sunglasses are still going strong, and now happy to have added a normal pair of glasses to the collection.
n.The service was fantastic, nice small team so didn't feel like just a number. Not a huge selection in Eyewear which is good as can be very overwhelming if to much choice.
A.My experience at Bailey Nelson just gets better and better. The selection process can sometimes be hard when there is a great range. I found some uniquely shaped frames that suited my style and am absolutely over the moon. The price range was well worth it and you can never skimp on going with the extras. J.As soon as I walked in the staff were so accommodating and friendly. And when I was selecting the glasses I wanted I got excellent service. On top of that I was told they would take between 7-10 working days and I got them in 6. Cannot speak highly of them enough! Thank you Bailey and Nelson team!

k.Optometrist was fantastic and prescription is great. However, when viewing glasses to purchase my husband and I were left essentially alone but told which ones looked 'cool'... I told them which ones I liked and they were simply picked up and said okay be ready in 10 days... no fitting, no making sure they are right fit or suitable for head/face. Sure enough, I've recieved glasses and although prescription is fantastic- very frustrating having to constantly push them back up as they dont quite fit my face properly... obviously I am writing this with hindsight- if I were to purchase again I would make sure the staff fitted glasses properly

From finding me the right glasses I wanted to get from many months ago - which had sold out but there were a pair in Auckland - and getting them sent down here (and then holding them for me), to answering all of my hundreds of questions (and so promptly!), and providing me with all I needed to know plus more. Sophie honestly made my day by making the process so much less stressful and my decision nice and easy. She was well informed and a pleasure to do business with.
Bailey Nelson have some beautiful glasses and the prices are great. The stuff you need to pay hundreds extra for at Specsavers either come with the glasses already, or are much cheaper to add. They definitely value their customers more than Specsavers and have a much much more positive attitude.
I havent even received my glasses yet but i know i will be stoked with them!

S.I had a very friendly and professional experience at Bailey Nelson. I found it convenient that they dealt directly with my health insurance company, and direct billed them on the spot so I only had to pay the small difference ( instead of paying the total amount and making a private claim and then waiting weeks to be refunded by my health insurance company.) I also love that their acetate frames are plant based, well priced as well as styley!
C.The range of specs were great and the service was always friendly and helpful but from someone who has had vision impairment for most of my life, I was quite shocked that no one knew what I was talking about when I said I had ICL done. This procedure has been around for roughly 17 years. Being an optometrist, it's quite vital that the front of house know the different visual correction procedures. I explained what the procedure was and I was still asked multiple times what my prescription was....after I had just explained my vision was corrected. Wasnt a good look I'm afraid. I felt like I was in a store mainly for the 'look' of having classes and not the medical needs of having classes. Which was quite frustrating coming from someone who has struggled with visual impairment for 21 years.
