I ordered two pairs of prescription glasses (clear and sunglasses) from Specsavers Hamilton - as I was given a gift certificate but they only work at the branch you purchase it from - once the glasses arrived four weeks later, they were noticeably too small for my face. I went into Specsavers Mount Maunganui hoping that someone would be able to hear me out and help me find the best solution. I was served by Sam, who was an absolute star! He was understanding, patient, and went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% happy. He ended up adjusted my clear spectacles to fit me perfectly, and took the time to help me find a new pair of sunglasses that suited me. Really stoked that my negative experience with Specsavers was turned into a totally positive one at the Mount Maunganui branch, highly recommend; no wonder they have so many awards on display!

Went there on a Sunday after noon to pick up my new glasses. I had my mother with me who was having problems with her glasses she had brought some time ago elsewhere. Nathan and Emily gave her the most amazing service, fixed her glasses as best as they could that were not even purchases from specsavers. They spent nearly 2 hours with her trying to fix her problems. She will end up buying a pair with them, because of their service. Well done you 2, I hope your boss reads this and recognizes your fabulous service!! Will be back for sure!

Visited Specsavers today with glasses that I had not been purchased from Specsavers & were not fitted correctly, Emily solved the problem, spending 30 mins & checking the fit with me at every stage I spoke with Nathan & he presented me with 2 options for new glasses,with no pressure to purchase. I was very impressed with the professional manner of Emily & Nathan. Would recommend Specsavers to my friends

Nathan was awesome. Very professional. I was a bit disappointed with the other staff though. He asked them to help me while he was helping my husband as we were with our very impatient toddler and they said they couldn't, even though there was no other clients at the shop at that particular time. Found very rude of them.

Serena was amazingly helpful with providing advice on the different options and deals available aswell as styling advice for frames that worked well with my face shape. Asya was extremely efficient and fast with getting me in for my appointment even though I was early. Also helped with ensure I had the right fit! Amazing place to get my glasses everytime!

I rung in and I explained my reasons for being late. The person was not helpful and tried to book another day 😞. When I arrived 15 mins late, I apologised for being late and a lovely assistant was very polite and said well done for getting here. Her service was awesome. Made my day looking forward to having my glasses which I have been waiting for 2 weeks.👍

We saw Emily today. She was very helpful. We got some frames fixed, chose and ordered new frames (at a discounted price) and got a spare pack of contacts all with 30 minutes. Excellent. Thanks!

I had great customer service from Lis and Asya and the wonderful team from Bayfair spec savers. They helped me find the right type of frames for the type if script I have. I love my glasses they are the best trendiest pair I have ever had. Especially with the type of script I have. Thankyou so much specsavers.

Excellent experience at Specsavers Bayfair. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It has been two years since my last eye examination and there was only a small change in my vision. What I liked is there was no pressure to buy a new pair of glasses . I was told if I did notice any change in my sight before my next visit come back and see them to discuss options. There was absolutely no pressure or up sell and for that reason I would highly recommend Specsavers and will defiantly be back for my free AA membership check up next time.

I have nothing but good things to say about Specsavers Mt Maunganui, the optometrists are great and really put effort in to ensure you have the best experience. There was an issue with my glasses, no fault of their own, but they were very professional and kind about it and checked everything for me and have now sorted everything. The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. Always willing to help, can highly recommend :-)
