j.A while ago I went in-store to pick out my first pair of glasses and was so satisfied with the experience.
All the staff were great but specifically to Maree, thank you so much for your professional customer service, your genuine advice, and kind-hearted approach while helping me choose my first pair. You created an enjoyable and bubbly environment and made me feel very comfortable even though I was quite nervous.
I'm so excited to collect them soon and will definitely be recommending Specsavers for anyone interested in the future.

Maree helped me choose my frames & lenses. We didn't always agree but we had fun! It was like shopping with one of my nieces.☺️

M.I just want to share some thing with you.
Last year I took a client to get her hearing tested, I was totally amazing at the service from Kit at Palmy Spec Savers. Cutting a long story short, my client ordered her new hearing aids, wow the difference it made to her was amazing. This got me thinking about my own hearing, some thing I have always had problems with from a very very young age. After many operations the amazing Dr got my hearing right up there, but unfortunately as we age, yes I admit I'm getting older lol my hearing has started to drop once again. I have had a hearing aid before but who at 25 years wants to wear it, so I never did. What a waste of money. I went to have a hearing test, my hearing had dropped to 65% once again. So now I have bit the bullet and got myself a new hearing aid. Omg The things that I can now hear is amazing, to hear the birds sing is mind blowing, to hear the leaves on the ground, just to understand what people are saying to me, to know which direction the sound is coming from. I now realize how much I have missed out on. So if you do have a hearing lost, I would recommend going to see Kit. Don't miss out on the important things in life. You can't even see that I wear a hearing aid. Some thing so small can change your life in a positive way.

I went into Specsavers for my eye, as I had a accident this morning and as I just arrive a fill minutes before close they did NOT had any problem to see me and they did more than they best to help me and they did in did.... OMG thank you Vickylee, Daniel and Kylie for a brilliant service and there's no doubt that these guys deserve 5 or more stars.... LOVE YOU ALL
E.I had a friendly and professional technician called Maree who helped me through the new experience of wearing contact lenses - not easy for the first time. She was patient and encouraging. My eyes remain intact and I can see. Must attempt to take them out before my evening wine 🤪🤣🤣

A.My appointment to pick up a pair of new glasses came just after lockdown. They unfortunately sent them to my old address (my fault for not updating), and when I phoned regarding pick-up, the very kind lady I spoke to said a staff member will pop them in my letterbox after work. This is absolutely top customer service. Specsavers has gone above and beyond for me. I am so happy and relieved.

I’ve had some awful experiences at this store being accused of breaking my glasses intentionally but Maree has restored my faith 🙂

S.Super stoked with the service from Alex and the Palmy store! Recently went into Napier branch and they told me my contact lenses wouldn’t arrive for 3 weeks and I mentioned I was moving to Australia in 11 days time. They didn’t want to order them for me. Popped into the Palmy store a couple of days later to double check the advice I’d received and they happily ordered them for me saying they would only take around a week. I risked it and they were here within 3 business days! Super happy, thanks Alex! 👍🏼

K.This place is awesome the staff (most of them) are polite helpful and really care about the job they do.
Quick / short story, went to OPSM (same mall) and got a script, - but got terrible customer service so went to Spec savers.
The script was wrong! - Spec savers not only did a much more thorough & extensive exam, with an optometrist who never once made me feel like i was "taking up too much time" (unlike OPSM), they then replaced my glass at their own expense despite it not being there fault at all!
I 100% expected to have to pay to replace them - or at least a 50/50 deal as the original script from OPSM being wrong had nothing to do with Spec savers.
Before this event i had always gone to Spec savers for my glasses, now i will not even consider anywhere else.
J.Excellent optician Nikol but sales information a nightmare - came out totally confused with a whole lot of prices written on the brochure and no clear idea of what I would have to pay. Two pairs for the price of one but from then on it's information overload. Rang back today and was able to get a proper quote but it took time. When sales staff talk a million miles an hour I don't buy. :)

G.I visited the shop looking for replacement prescription glasses and sunglasses, having booked an appointment. What a buzzy, professional operation! The appointment was on time and I also did an audio test which was very quick and simple. Asra was VERY helpful during the test and gave some good advice for my long term care. Sandra was excellent helping me pick the frames. Overall a delightful experience, highly recommended
