D.Today I had my 2 year appointment for my eye test and I must say that my experience has improved immensely from previous years. From Kelly at the front desk being super lovely and helpful on my decision for a new pair of glasses, and then the new technology for the eye exams and last but not least Aaron being extremely informative and professional on my eye exam and what to expect in years to come, etc. I came out positive and happy. And that is why I came back home and decided to write them a 5 star review. Good on you guys , see you soon for my new pair of glasses!!!
O.My reading glasses were coming apart and I could not fix them. Saw Specsavers so popped in and a very kind lady fixed them for free and with a big smile. That is what I call a real 5 star 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟experience

I had an eye examination with Aaron, which was very thorough and professional - they have the most up to date technology - I haven't seen this at my previous optometrist. Then the staff helped me choose a new pair of glasses and I'm very happy with the result. Thanks! Will definitely recommend you to my friends!
M.I had an appointment on 24/9/2019 for an eye examination. From the onset all of the team were excellent in their approach and in conducting the tests I had done. My questions were answered with professionalism and care from the receptionist through to the optometrist. I had a definite answer at last after years of wanting clarification to a particular question, never fully explained to me at other facilities. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
V.I lost my glasses and went in to ask for help as a hapless tourist. A sales representative by the name of Aaron came out to help me. He suggested to look for donated glasses, and he took the trouble to scan my eyes. He spent a total of 10 minutes to search through a large box of them and even found one that's close to my eyesight degrees. He didn't expected any payment and only asked for a simple donation to a charity box. I proposed to put a NZ$100, and he said it was too much and even suggested to give me change for it. I'm totally blown away by his pure honesty, which is really rare nowadays.
A.I bought 2 pairs of sunglasses at Queenstown Specsavers some time ago. The store is lovely, selection is good, and prescription services were easy, cost effective and of excellent quality.
The glasses are inexpensive compared to other providers, however they do come with a warrantee which seems to guarantee that they are not cheaply made, which allowed me to buy with confidence.
Recently, my sunglasses broke in a very odd way, and when I brought the issue to the store, the owner went way out of his way to ensure that I felt valued as a customer. Although he was unable to offer me a replacement under the warrantee because of the restrictions of the manufacturer’s policy, he was professional, compassionate and helped me to back into an affordable pair of good prescription glasses as quickly as possible. He went well above my expectations, and the experience has really stuck with me.
In Queenstown, where so much of the population is transient, transnational or “one-off” customer service has become all too common. It is too easy in a town like this to simply assume that an unhappy customer is a person you will never see again, and wash your hands of them. Specsavers customer service in my recent interaction was a breath of fresh air that left me with a great feeling of hope for “small town style” relationship-based customer service. Sometimes it is only when you have an issue that the true quality of an individual business shines through. Specsavers is just a brand name, but the Queenstown franchise is a business that is worth going back to again and again.
K.I recommend this place with all my heart! It was a pleasure to be served by such a friendly and helpful team! Every person that I've talk to did their best to help me, they answered my every question, overall the visit exceeded my expectations.
