Great service (but note that it is a busy store)

All the staff here are so kind and welcoming. The optometrist was really great and made sure to answer any questions I had and walked me through the results. I haven't gotten new glasses in over 6 years cause I am always too scared to change up the style I have. Gianni-Rose was so helpful and patient with me while I tried on many different pairs. She really made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Really happy with the experience and excited to come back and pick up the glasses in the New Year. Merry Christmas to the specsavers team.

I've been in a few times and the staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I've avoided choosing prescription glasses for a couple of years now, two staff in particular made my experience easy, fun and enjoyable. So, Cam and Gianni-Rose- thank you so very much for the excellent service! Being newish to Welly it genuinely felt like I was chatting and shopping with friends which was really nice You are a credit to Specsavers. Until next time!

Best eye consult I’ve ever experienced. David Aldridge really listened to my concerns and how I needed to use my glasses and gave me really informed choice. Narreeda helped me chose frames that I love with no hard sale but very tailored service to me. Great experience all round!

Cam was extremely patient and helpful. I initially asked for a new case and he threw in a free lens cleaner and cloth. I came in and out of the shop a few times and he was very attentive and listened to my questions with utmost interest and patience. Encouraged me to try lots of frames on even though he was having to clean them all the time. Anita handled my dispense, and cam was there to help with multiple obstacles making it a very smooth experience for me and my partner. Would recommend, great service and patience.

World class service since entrance. Got my eye exam done by great optometrist here, Sachi, she explained every bit of your eye condition. Also not forget to mention, Nareeda who is amazing with her high tech gadget helped me with my new glasses setup. Specsaver Cuba Street is all that you need for your eye and glasses matters.

Exceptional service! Polite team were very respectful of time and tastes, and even better, their business had given great thought to how to incorporate the "new normal" of wearing a mask vs the need to have spaces where you can remove them to test specs. My Optomitrist (David) was enthusiastic, warm and interesting, and I was assisted by the kind and caring Mark and the bright and dedicated Zara! A brilliant place and I got a great pair of glasses ordered with all the options I wanted.

My experience at Spec Savers - Cuba St was awesome and that is all because of Narreeda. From the moment she greeted me she made me feel at ease by simply pronouncing my name correctly. From there it just got better and better. Narreeda explained things to me in a way I could understand straight away. She was so helpful in helping me pick a pair that fitted properly and looked good on me. Great communication skills, great knowledge and great customer service. She made me walk away feeling great and like she actually wanted to help me, which she did ten fold

Amazing humans who take the extra effort to make you feel happy with your purchase! I've been a troublesome customer - with dry eyes that don't like contact lenses, and vastly different prescriptions on each eye that make specs fitting a pain. I've had to go back multiple times for fittings and contact lens trials, and (especially) Nareeda, Raife, and David have patiently and cheerfully helped me out each time. Thank you :)

I didn't purchase today , but the chap in the store wearing a vest was very helpful in suggesting the optometrist that I could find the specific brand of eyewear I was looking for.

I broke my glasses and contacted them via website late last nite. They called back and sorted me out quick smart. Were friendly understanding and went above and beyond. Outstanding service thank you.

I was overdue for an eye exam & new glasses so made an appointment here. Eye exam went smooth & was helped by Aditi with the options they offered. I always get 2 pairs of glasses in case I break or lose 1 so was offered the details of the deals they have. Found the glasses I wanted & added one option for polarization. Good price for the glasses & exam. Would come back when I need to get an exam & glasses in the future.

So many frame choices! So little time! Unfortunately I don't have the time to wear all the fantastic frames you have available. It was a tough choice but Gianni, Emily and Cam really helped me to select some awesome new glasses. Really appreciate the attention to detail in the eye test, simple language explaining options and the care from this whole team. Thanks!

Really great service from start to finish. I broke my glasses on Sunday morning and ran into the store a bit strung out. I was greeted by a friendly and calm woman (wasn't wearing my glasses, so couldn't read name tag, sorry!) who booked me in for a test the next morning. The optometrist, David, was very personable and thorough, and Cam was great with helping me organiser some contacts to see me through while the frames are put together. I was quite stressed about it all, but the lovely staff made everything really easy and never made me feel sully. Thank you!

Went to specsavers for a recheck on eyes and to order new glasses! Nicole was most wonderful assistance to my experience. Provided all options, especially as i was indecisive and helped me select some wonderful glasses and have a wonderful experience at Spec Savers. Highly recommend!

Gianna-rose was very pleasant and helpful with my choice of spec frames. She went the extra mile to help me to fix my sunglasses as it did not fit very which was purchased from specsaver few years ago. Nothing was too difficult for her. Would like to deal with her again.

Emily taught me how to put on and take out contact lenses for the first time. They are a superstar! Very patient and a great teacher. Thanks Emily!

My little family went in a few weeks ago, as we were due for an eye test (they sent us a text as a reminder) and had a very easy and friendly experience with ZAC :) We talked about gaming which made my son feel a bit more at ease. We absolutely loved dealing with him!

I’m normally skeptical and anxious about optometrists in New Zealand and going into those shops. Narreeda made me super comfortable and I felt looked-after without feeling pressured into anything. She is an absolute gem and definitely a great representative for Specsavers.

Best place to get your eye test! Dr. Dave was thorough with the examination and explains my question in details and by showing me. This was definitely the best eye test I've ever had. The front man was nice and lovely and the team was exceptional and welcoming. Thanks Cuba team.

Purchased some new glasses a few weeks ago and was having problems with them. Went into the store today and was served by Cam, who helped problem solve with a great solution. Cam was professional, attentive, and gave great explanation to the cause of the problem. 'Outstanding' customer service, thanks Cam.

I am a regular client and I was very pleased with the service. The optician was very patient and relaxed me. The technician who helped me chose the frames, Raife, was very quick to understand what my needs were and to find me an appropriate set of frames. Both professionals mades sure the process was smooth and comfortable. I will continue to recommend Specsavers to my friends.

My experience was very nice. I was served by Narreeda and she was very helpful in helping me acquire a new pair of glasses.

I came in to make a pair of glasses that was covered under insurance. The people in the store were extremely helpful. When the insurance needed additional documentation, Narreeda was very helpful. She was constantly in touch with me and provided everything I needed for the claim. A very wonderful experience.

Honestly, I came in as a blank canvas knowing fully that I’ll need to get prescription glasses. Narreeda was a wonderful helper who understood the context of when and how I’d use/ wear my future glasses, took 2 hours out of her time to explain and nourture me to a choice I wouldn’t regret and finally went even further to sort me out with my insurance claim. This was such a wonderful experience for someone who was feeling anxious about the whole ordeal. Super friendly, super easy to deal with and ultimately I’m a super satisfied customer!

Raife is an absolute gem. Helped me get new lenses in my favourite glasses and I'm super happy.

Tegan and Gianni were very helpful in sorting me with new frames and also giving a temporary fix for my old ones so I’m not blind while I wait for the new ones

I have visited this store numerous times to browse frames, purchase frames, and have my glasses adjusted, dealing with different staff on different occasions and in some instances phoning up with queries. I've found the team in-store to be consistently friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive. There is a very friendly, positive, and welcoming vibe in the store that seems to be consistent across all the staff I have encountered. A great customer service experience!

Really great service! I haven't loved using contacts in the past and I had low expectations that I would be able to learn how to put in contacts with one class. I had a lesson with Raife and he was a fantastic teacher!

This place is the best place to get your eyes tested and buying lenses .I recently been to the place all staff is real nice and understands the needs of the customer. The best thing they got the best doctors to get your eyes tested especially Steven he is just legend, knows everything about eyes and always give you the best solution . here again I thank Specsavers and team for their excellent service

Raife (?) unsure of the spelling of the guys name but i had the best experience here! Helped me find two pairs of glasses that work great for Uni and look amazing on me!

Friendly and efficient service from the great staff members at Specsavers, Cuba Street. I found the store extremely child friendly which meant that my son, who has one thousand questions for everybody, also enjoyed the experience. The only negative thing I would say is that I noticed a few people weren't welcomed when they arrived, so they wandered about and left without talking to anybody. Perhaps there's room for slight tweaks in the customer service method otherwise, a very positive experience. Thanks guys, love my new spectacles!

Really enjoying the level of service I'm getting from Specsavers Cuba St. Very different experience to my first encounter with Specsavers, which wasn't all that good and very salesy. These guys have really looked after me, and I'm pretty impressed with all their tech and gadgets that they use to assess my vision and measure me up for frames. Mark in particular has been rather good. nice work folks.

As a visitor in town with a problem with my eye that wouldn't resolve they were able to schedule me to see a wonderful young optometrist who removed a foreign body and advised me of the followup treatment, all for the grand sum of $15. Visited Specsavers last year and discussed a meeting with an Ophthalmologist at the hospital August 2018. Waited over six months wondering when the hospital referral letter will arrive. It never did so I reached out to ask if they sent a referral. They hospital did not receive anything. It is up the the optometrists to send the referral. After reaching out for the third time, hopefully a referral letter from the hospital will arrive. Was a bit guttered people were not taking accountability.

I just wanted to say thank you so much to "Mark" for the service that you provided me, going out of your way to make the customer feel valued and special. I needed to spend money because of a fault of my own and you made it easy to spend the cash. Note: make sure to ask for "Mark" as I have had a very different kind of service from this store 2/5*.

Have to stop and leave a quick word after the experience I had. I'm travelling overseas from Canada with not much to my name, but being near blind my glasses are my most important possession. Was in Wellington visiting the war exhibition and my glasses snapped near in two. Hurriedly had my friend guide me to the nearest specsavers. Mark not only spent the time finding me a pair of frames that could fit my current lenses but also gave me a discounted price due to my circumstances. Bravo to Specsavers on Cuba.

Bought couple of specs from specsaver in Palmy. They failed to adjust my glasses twice. Was in Wellington over easter break, the guy in this shop could quickly see what the problem is and adjusted them . There is some poor training in Palmy specsaver, but here the guy I spoke to seemed to be good and knew what he was doing :)

This 5 stars is to the manager who works or looks after this store, I can't recall his name but man he is helpful. After receiving some bad customer service from this another employee in the store, the manager made up for it in a very positive way.

I was served by Cam and Narreeda, both were excellent.
